Edge had a good sleep in his new house he had wasted a lot of energy making that robot but he had decided to use the machine every time they are ever in a battle he had heard of Snow's bad condition. After a few hours of good sleep he had made the decision to see Snow and how she is doing, he opened the door to a slit in Snow's room he saw Dark right next to Snow's unconscious body. He knocked on the door slightly and opened it "Hey Dark..... How is Snow doing?" Edge said.
"I don't know. I can feel her life force, it's very weak, but her body is fine physically, I mean just look, all those cuts and scrapes and bruises have healed over or almost healed, but she is very faint. Its almost as if her essence is using Snow's own life force because its exhausted. If she does cone out of it, she will likely be very different physically." Dark just continued to stare at Snow the whole time. Her whole body aches of sleep, but if something happened to Snow, it would be the end of both of them.
Rashall floats above the house that he had seen the others enter but moments ago. He had finally returned from a mission that was more important than that already at hand, but now it was time he investigated things more closely.
The clock ticked away, minutes and hours. Ponies from all over Ponyville stopped by, if they could. Finally, late at night, Dark stared at Snow, but slowly, ever so slowly, feel asleep.
Rashall poked his head into the window and saw Snow lying there on the floor. Saying a choice few words he teleported into a nearby secondary room and quietly opened the door. "Now then what has happened to you while I have been away?" he whispers at the unconscious Snow.
Snow suddenly jerked up, felt a sharp pain go through her body and yelped loudly. She looked around the room, at first all she saw Dark asleep, but as her eyes adjusted to the dark room, she saw the shadow pony she hadnt seen in weeks. "Oh hey Rashall." Snow started to slowly remove the iv's from her body, "Got myself in quite the mess havent I? Well, don't be mad, but, I might have flattened a few square miles of forest and some of the town in one of my incidents, which is strange because ever since Dark came around," she motioned to the black pony, " the incidents had stopped. And if you are wondering about her, let me explain." and the two sat down as Snow filled Rashall in on everything that had happened while he was gone, from her incidental cure of the green mists, to her and Edge's pranks on Firebreeze's and Haze's race, to the corruption plague that led to the creation of Dark, to the problem with Edge's madness that caused Snow and Dark to split Of conciusness, to current invasion of Equestria by the mysterious external force. By the time Snow finished, the sun was rising up from the hirizon. "That pretty much sums up everything, from my prespective that is. I you want the full story, you might want to ask the others. I need to get back to sleep." and with that Snow yawned and fell asleep again.
Firebreeze flew out of his cloud as soon as he knew it was morning. He decided to practice some tricks and then visit a field just outside of ponyville to do some relaxing in the grass.
(This is just a cut to the leader of the Invaders) "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY WERE PUSHED BACK!" the palace echoed as a messenger brought the grim news of Ponyville. "If the other conquered cities find out that a small countrytown was able to kick us out, there would be mass rebellions across the conquered lands!" the leader yelled. He got down from his throne, his dark cape dragging along the floor. Well, did we at least capture what we set out for?!" the leader asked the messenger. "No sir. Neither the elements or the representatives were captured, they managed to escape. But we did find something out thats, quite intresting. You see, there was a group of ponies that we found, that were as powerful, if not more than the Six! They must represent the Elements of the Ancients, my lord." "And I'm taking it tht they lack knowledge of these .... Ancient Elements?" "Yes, my leige." In fact, we found the location of the acual elements, but a few are still missing." " Well then, FIND THEM, AND BRING THOSE PONIES TO ME!" "Yes, of course fair ruler." and the messenger ran out as the palace was filled with evil laughter. "With both the Elements of Harmony and the Ancients under my comtrol, nothing could stop me from retaking what is rightfully mine! You hear me sisters! I will retake the lands promised to me by Father!"
Firebreeze layed down in the field after he finished practicing and looked up at the clouds. He smiled, remembering an old trick he learned awhile back. Fire stood up and flew to one of the clouds and began to fly around it, causing it to be lit on fire. Breezy flew back and watched as the flaming cloud begin to rain. He laughed at his useless trick and soon bucked the cloud out of existence. He lied back down in the field and began to nap.
The massive army marched towards Ponyville, numbering in the hundreds of thousands of the Invader's best troops. Archers, mages, the whole nine yards. They where on a mission, capture the Representatives of the Ancient Elements and burn the town to the ground. (They succed for the most part, but all bit one of us escapes). They stood a small hill looking over the feilds leading up to Ponyville, and saw a pony laying in the feilds. "Use the claw!" a minotaur yelled and a cannon like object fired and claw hand that was meant to close on impact, taking the target prisoner right at the pony.
Firebreeze was given a rude awakening when he was suddenly grabbed by a giant claw. As he was reeled in, Fire was greeted by a large army, "I'm guessing this isn't a massive parade..." He said in a slight sarcastic tone.
The minotaur smiled, "Looks like we got ourselves a smart aleck! Well you better not act like that around the Leader or he might blow you to bits! Alright, CCCCHHHHHAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGEEEEEE!!!!!!" the minotaur roared and the entire army surged forward, charging Ponyville, certain of victory as they were over 50x larger than the last army.
Firebreeze struggled in the claw saying "oh, crap! Oh, crap!" repeatedly. He eventually stopped struggling and simply hung awkwardly in the claw's grip.
Celestia lead Twilight and her friends through the Canterlot Castle. Altough the town had suffered from the near constant attacks, the palace was still realtively intact. They eventually reached a large iron door, "Alright my little ponies, I am about to show you the origins of the Elements, and give you information that, if it doesnt destroy your mind, could help you in your fight against the invaders." Celestia then fired a magic beam at the door, filling the door with beyond ancient runes, the door then fell away to reveal a room filled with paintings of scenes, a lot of them not so pretty. "This, is the full and complete history of Equestria, started with, my parents."
Edge was still in bed until he had heard an explosion of imense size it shook him right out of his small bed he hit the floor hard with a loud thump. "Urgh...... Please don't tell me they are back," he groaned he crawled to a window and suddenly a spear went right through the window. "Yep they are back," he said with a big sigh he stood up and purple mist swarmed him and suddenly he was inside the thing he has called a Dreadnaught he smashed through his house landing right in front of a squad of things. "I have come to destroy you," he yelled with a big metallic roar they screamed in terror and Edge burned them alive.
The army swarmed the machine. Dispite its power, there were simply to many, and overwhelmed it. The next thing Edge knew was being dangled by a rope next to Firebreeze
Zephyr reclined high above the ground on a solitary cloud located at the very precipice of the troposphere. The air here was very brisk and he found it much to his liking, it relaxed him in a way that not much else could. The sounds of battle echoed off once more in the distance at a harrowing volume. Zephyr rolled over on his cloud and scanned the ground. Much to his dismay he saw that the army was back, and this time had returned with an unfathomable number of troops. A small blaze shot off in the distance as Fire was captured and there was a metallic crunch as Edge's machine was swatted as though it were a fly on the neck of this gargantuan force. He looked down at his adversaries and contemplated his options. He could either charge in, run, or hide. One of these options was suicide, he'd fare just about as well as Fire in the second, but the third was cowardly. There was a strong sense of dissonance in the air around Sephyr as he fought himself internally to make a rational choice, and he did. Pulling his bag around, he flung it open and tore around its contents for a little something to make his capture a little more slippery. He clutched a white blanket in his hoof and pulled it out. He had used this many times to avoid capture in the past and was sure it would work in his favor once more. Looking around, he noticed the cloud he had been resting on was awkwardly off by itself and might be seen as suspicious. He shoved the blanket back into his bag, it's bright color would make an obvious contrast against the black of the night sky. Zephyr rolled off of the cloud and soared over to a nearby cluster of cumulus clouds, who's numbers were in that of the thousands above the clouds. It was impossible for him to be seen as he examined the group for the optimal choice as his coat camouflaged excellently against the dark of the night. After a short while he has found the perfect spot. There before him laid a cloud which had been a tad bigger than the rest, yet had a hollow core making it prime for concealment. Laying down inside the puffy foxhole, he pulled the blanket over the cloud and became one with it. A bang of guilt shot through his heart, he hated having to resort to this to help his comrades, but there was nothing. Ore he could do. A small smile appeared on his face in his time of darkness. "Really grateful for having skills like this right about now..." he mumbled to himself (Sorry for typos, on my iPod.)
Firebreeze had spent hours hung by his hind hooves in a dungeon. His wings were tied up, making it impossible to use his fire trail. Fire had gotten bored an soon resorted to annoying the guards for entertainment. As the door to the cell opened, Fire believed he was going to be exectuted, but in reality, the guards were just bringing in another prisoner, Edge. "How's it going, Edge?" Firebreeze said. He seemed completely unaffected by recent events.
Soon, the army had overwhelmed Ponyville, taking everypony either prisoner or slaughtering them. The Representatives of the Ancients were captured dispite casualties, especially in trying to take Snow, Rashall, and Dark prisoner. Soon, they were all hanging in a dongeon, unable to use their magic if they could. "Well how are we going to get out of this one!" Dark yelled. (at Canterlot Palace) "You see, my little ponies, that Equestria's history strected way farther back than Luna and I. Before that, Equestria was ruled by my parents. But that's when the twist comes in, for you see, I was not the first born, it was in fact, my brother. After our parents passed on the throne, my Brother, Tremalion,lead Equestria. He stabilized the country, but when I cone of ruling age, he was unwilling to submit to half control with me dispite the wishes of our parents. He launched a massive civil war to crush me and my followers." as she described each event, they passed a corresponding painting. "The war raged for many a year until my little sister, Luna, was old enough to rule as well. She threw her lot in with my own, and togather, we made the Elements of Harmony to defeat my brother and restore the throne. But alas, the moment he heard of the Elements creation, he was infuriated! He then created the Elements of the Ancients to counter the Harmony Elements. The two main differences between the two is that the Harmony Elements were created using normal magic and were meant to bring harmony to the land. The Ancient Elements however, were made with a form of magic I know you've heard of." "Essence." Twilight said, remembering that Snow's magic was the only other form of magic she had ever heard of. "Very good Twilight. You see, the Ancient Elements are not meant to bring peace, but bring power to whoever controls them. They are the Elements of Divine Rule, Strength, Fire, Light, Darkness, Spoken Word, Speed, Intelligence, and Force. Each is made to represent an aspect of power and leadership. With the two countering Elements, the war continued to drag on. Eventually, one of Tremalion's Champions, his name for a representative of an Element, was slain in battle, and the Element of Divine Rule was lost, like it is to this day. After that, the Ancient Elements quickly lost power as the Champions were killed off one by one, eventually, we were able to corner Tremalion, and banished him from Equestria. But now, the magical wards that have been keeping him at by all these years is falling apart, that is why he is able to send his minions to attack us, but the wards are still powerful enough to keep him from entering Equestria himself. But once they fall, not even the Elements of Harmony will be able to stop him from taking over the land and ending mine and Luna's life. Only a conbination of both sets of Elements could even possibly hope to stop him, but as he controls the Ancient Elements, that is unlikely." the room was silent as the heavy blanket of the news they just recieved sank in, leaving all breathless.
