Yami's already said it :derpe: BUT WHAT THE BUCK! Not even five minutes in, and Fluttershy's a tree, Derpy's showed up and pegasi physics! I CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYES. *EDIT* I also died inside. You know what scene I'm on about.
So apparently Fluttershy has a fear of public humiliation but she let Twilight make her embarrass herself in front of everypony when she was a model. Unless I'm missing a key piece of information, something doesn't add up here. Also, I just missed out on the start of the livestream so I'll just watch it later today.
OHMYGOD YES. I almost cried it was so sad. My eyes teared up seriously. I wonder how much wing power Fluttershy had at the end.
It's by a mile my second favourite episode (only being beaten by Season 2 Episode 15 :derpe The animation, morals and character development were outstanding. One question: WHY THE BUCK DIDN'T SPITFIRE ASSIST IN MAKING THE TORNADO! SHE'S ONE OF THE FASTEST FLIERS IN EQUESTRIA!!!
Twilight had simply suggested that Fluttershy quit the modeling since she didn't like it. Fluttershy thought it would be better if she got the fans to stop liking her vs simply quitting. Twilight thought of the idea use magic to make her look bad and would force Photo Finish to find a new model. At the end of the performance when Rarity ruins their scheme, Fluttershy is disappointed to hear the fans start to cheer. So I would think that Fluttershy wanted Twi to do this. Now onto today's episode. We got lots of Derpy today so that was nice, the steroid pony was kinda odd, but whatever. I thought it was stupid that when the meter was at 195 Spitfire was just sitting there and not going to help. I understand the purpose of the episode was for Fluttershy to do it, but it seemed odd that Spitfire would just sit there...
For all we know, Spitfire might not wanted to get too tired out from flying. (It might be a little, but it could be enough). Anyway, this was a pretty good episode. This episode is a 10/10. Great music, great moral, nice foreshadowing, Rainbow Dash's character being shown more depth to her character, Spitefire showing up, the pony that screams "YEAH!"...know what, all of the episode really. It had funny moments here or there, but the main purpose of the episode was to be a serious episode. And it did it's job well. I will have to say that I think this is the best Fluttershy episode.
She's a freaking Wonderbolt. She's properly trained to fly faster and longer than the rest of the pegasus ponies. She should have helped.
Spitfire had faith in Rainbow Dash and didn't want to steal her thunder. Worst case she would have helped, but that would have ruined the redemption that was occurring.
Yea, I love when they add new ponies. It helps relieve the re-used background ponies and gives more diversity. We also got to see Blossomforth which was pretty sweet also.
