Episode 23: The Cutie Mark Chronicles

I watched part of it on the Hub... I only saw the story of Fluttershy and Rainbow. Believe it; They do not look like those fillies in your signature.

EDIT: I finally sat down and watched this episode. By far, the most epic one was Twilight's story. It made my face go totally *WOW*. The most disappointing one was Fluttershy's unfortunately... Didn't seem to be anything special QTBH.

I can't believe that they actually made Rarity use the term "BFF". Well, she's the one you would actually expect to talk that way.

This episode is definitely my new favourite.

Twilight's part was great "YES YES YES YES YES YES... uhhhhh.... yes" As for Pinkie Pies story, well, it was as random as ever. I didn't catch Derpy Hooves so I'll have to re-watch for that, and then maybe re-watch again.

 

Uhh... yeah... To look for Derpy... That's what I'm going with too. :derpe:

Grey kind of ruined the horn thing for me. It was still funny though.

It was cool how we finally witnessed the very first "Sonic Rainboom".
The one that was supposedly only an "Old mares tale".

 

You know..... if Fluttershy had never been to the ground before, how'd she know the names of all the animals?

 

ok, so I'm watching whole season 3rd time for details and I've found 2 major on this episode alone:
1: Derpy's age:

on these screenshot in Twilight's flashback, she seems to be much older than Twilight Sparkle and hangs out with adult ponies which are same size as her (at time before Twilight started her studies), right? (note she had cutie mark, it was visible in one screenshot in that scene)
but
in Rairtiy's flashback, which is further down the timeline (maybe even few years later) she seems to be hanging out with young fillies that have no cutie marks, and is same size (meaning and age) as other fillies, and Rarity.

then again in Twilight's flashback she was adult. Does Derpy age at all? what was her true age at the time?

Is Pinkie Pie really just being silly with the "and that's how Equestria was made" line? Her silly lines have a habit of being true. I wonder if this one turns out to be true as well.

 

Technically, she could be referring to how the Sonic Rainboom effected the Mane Six, which was just a tiny bit beneficial to Equestria in the long run. Still not quite "how Equestria was made", though.
