You sound like my kind of person

Except the being sad, that sucks.

I refuse to ever be in the same place as drugs or alcohol. That stuff is not cool, it's stupid.

As for hurting myself, I could never do it in any form. It only seems like a cover for other stuff.

Xan, I'll get over small stuff like that. Except that album cover, That I never want to see again

I don't mind being around alcohol so long as the people around me accept I won't drink. they don't always and try to get me to drink sometimes.

I say, "I don't like alcohol. It tastes like crap."
They say, "Well, you haven't had the right kind, then." And buy me something to try. I accept, and hate it, every time. I don't like the taste of it. Antying that tastes good with it would taste 10x better without it. I also don't like what it does to people. I see people drinking and think "Are they doing this simply because it's the only drug they can legally get high off of?" I shake my head, unable to comprehend their substance dependency, and go about my day. I just don't get it, and probably never will. I'm fine with that, but I do get tired of everybody treating me like I'm weird because I don't drink.

And the sad isn't constant. It only happens every now and then. :derpe: Like yesterday and a little bit today.

Yeah, I thought as much. I thought you had gone, because you weren't saying anything. I definitely wouldn't have done it if I knew you were there.
I'm sorry again :( I felt really, really bad, when I saw that you were still there

What album cover is this? Show me! You don't have to embed it, just link me. That way pixel can ignore it.

@yami, I have never tried and will never try alcohol. I'd rather break my right hand.

    Quick Backstory:
Norwegian Black metal: Included Mayhem and Burzum
This band member was depressed, shot himself with a shotgun, band members crawl into his house a few days later, sees corpse, and takes photos of the mess, instead of calling cops or anything... So the image is legit and not staged.

Whoa dude. That's totally messed up. I'm not traumatized by it or anything, but....dude...

I guess the word "why" is prevalent in my mind at the moment.

Well, another reason for me not to be a fan of death metal. Of course I know that this is just one band doing one thing, but still. I don't much care for death metal in the first place. My scene is in the melodic, symphonic, and progressive metals.

Kinda interesting how where I live pretty much everyone drinks and does drugs, I'll admit I do too to an extent, yet so far here it seems to be the other way around.

    I think it's a bit interesting anyway.

EDIT: I really can't keep up with this thread :derpe:

I was straight edge before I even knew it was a real thing. I think I was like 9-10 when I really decieded I'd never touch any drugs. It's been 20 years and I plan on another 100 doing the same.

Xan, do make me get cokie the clown. Lol at the coke clown after what I just posted.

You know. I asked my dad why is it that people like a good beer every now and then. He tells me that it helps brighten the mood for everyone. Of course, this wouldn't be true if one were to get really drunk. If one drinks, they need to know how to drink. Me and my bros get together every month to dicuss a bit about things while drinking. It does help make the ambiance more right. For me anyway.
I can understand that you wouldn't want to try it. Some people can be more sensitive to it than others.

You are my older brother. /)

Except my real older brother is a casual drinker. He only does it at outings.

I decided very early never to drink or smoke, and I don't.

I have no trouble with others drinking, by all means go ahead. I just hate the people who do it to get drunk, I think they're idiots and just destroying themselves.
I'm just saying I don't need something to bring me down any lower.
I keep to my energy drinks to get me through my drowsiness of the day.

If it lightens the mood, then it's a crutch to make you feel better.

I hate the idiots that need beer to party. Just means they can't have fun without being drunk. As for me, I'd rather have a clear head.

When I was at my aunts with my family when I was 15. My aunt let my cousin have the last bit of her beer. My grandfather gave the same offer to me. I declined. How many 15 year olds would do that.

I also enjoy explaining straight edge to people. They never understand.

EDIT: I won't be near anyone that drinks.

I can accept your views and think no different to you with it, like others should with things like religion( better not go there though)
But I also don't want you to push it against us to follow the same route, I'm not saying you do or will, I'm sure you won't but I'm just saying. I have had interest in trying things once. Open mind, ya'know?

Yeah that's my main problem with "parties." 90% of parties are just a bunch of people getting together and getting drunk off their asses. I do want to be more social to improve myself, but when that's what I have to look forward to, how can I?

    Also, straight edge?
