    I suggest you try experimenting with multiple colored lights and warm/cold shadow/bright transitions - they seem pretty unsaturated without the cold/warm color transitions. Try working with less black strokes and focus on the pose, anatomy and overall perspective - try drawing something that looks like a really dynamic/intense pose.

    For instance, try drawing a guy in a war shooting a rocket launcher with explosions in the background. Make it colorful and enjoyable - the explosions and the flare of light the rockets emit would make a good colored lighting exercise. Oh and, if you can, make it be night-time, just for the challenge and see how you've done.

    And, if you don't know how warm/cold light/dark transitions work, try finding a tutorial on the internet. I know my colored pics looked pretty dull until i checked out how to actually color the right way.

    thank you very much for the advice! x3 i'll try that sometime in the future, o_O if i can pull it off xD I am still practicing, and working on coloring and backgrounds
