Source! Hmm, could be interesting... Spoiler: Spoiler Clip #1 [video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwstZ0OIj_I[video] Spoiler clip number two! There's a third spoiler clip, I believe, but it isn't on youtube yet so far. NOTE: If you're wondering about the voices sounding off, it's possible that these are early readings of the lines, or some other explanation.
I'm not really looking forward to this episode to be honest. My first impressions make me think that this will be rather boring and just involve the CMC running around making everypony look bad and learning the basic "Gossip and rumors may be fun for you, but think about how others would feel" type of lesson. First impressions on episodes have been wrong in the past, we'll just have to see. And was it really necessary to post this so early?
looks like interesting cmc episode. Looks like they are cooking up some chaos again. (maybe they have spirit of Discord in themselves and that's their special talent :ahh
See, my first impressions are always wrong. This episode was fantastic! It had me laughing through a majority of it, the reactions of the Mane 6 were very funny. Also we get a mention of Trixie! They should have showed her though... Oh well.
Anypony else enjoyed seeing Diamond Tiara as a full-fledged villain, she was great as the editor. I loved the episode and the news stories, especially the one with Big Mac and Smartypants. And this scene is gold http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjeDU7W2IQQ .
Everything about this one was great. Rainbow Dash, force fields, Applejack and Big Mac, Celestia photo, Trixie, Snips and Snails. Did any of the math in the beginning make sense? It looked like mostly scribbles, but if they're using del then school must be pretty hardcore.
In all honesty, I'm not too big a fan of CMC episodes, but this episode earned a place in my "Top 5" for season 2.
This was top comment. Seriously, five ancient sages of *squee!*dom all gathered one day on the peaks of Mount *squee!* to proclaim Diamond Tiara's birth! And a hundred years later, when all the *squee!* stars have aligned, she was born and made everypony's life around her a living hell, because SHE! IS SUCH! A *squee!*!EternalChaosBringer 16 minutes ago 10
I would say it doesn't mean anything. I can't tell what the symbols are on the right of the =, and the use of ∈ doesn't make sense here.
I dunno, there's not enough to go on with this case. You've got an ∈ which literally means "element of". The picture below makes me think of equations dealing with vector calculus and 3 dimensional Cartesian planes. But the equation seems to simple to fit with it.
It reminds me of electrostatics (if that were a Greek mu instead of a u then epsilon could be electric permittivity), but TBH I think most of it was intended to be illegible.
I was thinking more along the lines of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spherical_coordinates The picture below seems to point to this, but the equation does not.
Mmm, possibly. I thought maybe it was related to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxwell's_equations#Table_of_.27microscopic.27_equations because of the equation.
For some reason, I thought it was exceptionally strange that the bundles of newspaper were bound by those yellow plastic bands. Something about them doesn't quite fit into setting for some reason. I don't know why. Irks me a bit.
