for them of you lazy and dont like to read post and want to cut to the chase just click here for tips on getting some rest hey there i have a really uncomfortable bed i sleep on at night and it makes getting and staying asleep difficult. i know im not the only one so i wanted to offer some tips on how you can get to sleep easier. heres some simple tips to start with in getting to sleep, this also helps if you are feeling depressed. getting enough sleep is important for physical and emotional health. If you are having difficulty sleeping then changing a few things may help. lets start with the following; dont read, eat, drink, or try going to bed instantly after getting off the computer or watch any TV. all of this can create excitement on the body and put it under stress when trying to sleep. reading, watching TV, getting off the computer instantly can cause your brain to remain active for the next 25 minuets to half an hour after stopping activitys and as you are trying to get some rest it will make it difficult to get to sleep and staying asleep. as for eating, when you eat you have all that food in your stomach resting and your stomach is trying to digest your food as you sleep which makes it all the more difficult when your body is working on digesting it enabling it to remain active through the night. facts; it is a fact that it takes 5 minuets to get to sleep if tired and 10 minuets to get to sleep if OVER tired. i actually took the liberty of visiting a well known website that a lot of people know about and i believe this site should help provide further tips on how to get some rest next time you need to get up early. this website is called WebMD.com i wish you all luck at getting some rest and sweet ponydreams. as for my method for getting to sleep i like to give my self ant least 25 30 minuets of quiet time with no eating heavy stuff or drinking a lot "maybe a sit of water or some crackers here and there is ok but don over do it." then getting to bed. Edit; one thing i forgot to mention, if you feel tired and it is 9 ot 10 pm at night try to get some rest, if you dont your adrenalin will kick in and will keep you up for an added 3 - 4 hours before you finally get some rest. this happens to me every time XD Edit; i was also thinking, how do you get up in the morning? i like to exercise or do a few jump jacks to get the blood flowing and heart pumping.
You should just make a 'Lugia's Discussion Thread' or something like that. There are a lot of threads that you've created that get repetitive and make topics that I actually want to visit hard to find amongst the sea of Lugia threads. On a side note, it is indeed very important to sleep or else your body will not be able to function properly. Your mood can be affected, and your overall performance for the next day will be hindered.
I always have trouble getting to sleep. I just end up led there in bed for a few hours, staring into space and hoping that some time soon... I'll make sure to try some of these out, they might help a little, fingers crossed
I usually get to sleep my turning the lights off closing my eyes and muttering to myself until i pass out. But oddly enough.I get alot of sleep yet my brain still doesnt work right.I still feel like i should go to bed even though its only 11:00 A.M Its weird.
There is no rule on the forum that states a limit on how many threads one can post, as long as each is a unique useful topic. Each one so far has been and not repetitive. As long as they remain that way, he has the right to do so as he sees fit, just as anyone else here. It's a forum. It's meant for discussion. If he's the one that happens to be creating the threads, so what? He wants to stimulate discussion. That's not against the rules.
I sleep at around or past midnight. In vacation, I sleep at around 4 am sometimes. This of course is terrible. I miss my entire morning because of that. I just can't get out of bed untill noon. When days require I wake up early, I find it diffucult to get up even when my alarm goes off an hour before and continues every 15 min.
I acknowledge this. It is only a minor annoyance. I never once said he was breaking the rules. With all due respect, keep your bias against me out of the forum. You did not need to point out the blatantly obvious. Call me 'immature' or whatever, but I tire of you shoving ideals and rules that I already know down my already sore throat. I grow tired of it. Very quickly.
Good, and it is minor. And with all due respect, don't make assumptions about my motivations. I was simply pointing out the error in your post. One large thread containing a bunch of separate topics is not necessary. We have a general chat thread for that. I will never call you that. If you know the rules, then please follow them. Now keep it on topic. Any further off-topic posts will be removed, and, if necessary, disciplinary action will be taken. Thank you for your cooperation.
thats not so simple for some at all.... I suffer from frequent transient insomnia, making me sleep less than 3 hours a night. I've tried everything that people suggest. I take 2 sedatives a night.
I find that bludgeoning your head with/against large hard objects is And effective way to put yourself to sleep. I personally avoid the practice purely for reasons of personal choice.
