Alright, so I was talking to a couple of friends when one of them started to bring up a bunch of the things his dad taught him to skip past a lot of trouble throughout life and it got me thinking. So as a result of my thoughts I decided to make a thread designed specifically for that sort of thing, where we can all post out little tricks in life or just things that should downright common knowledge but for some reason isn't. As a kid my dad taught me how to make homemade cider. Basically you take a container (preferably big) and fill it with cheap apple juice. Afterwards you fill it with a bunch of sugar, get some cloth and rubber bands, and use the two in conjunction to seal off the opening from outside debris. If you leave it like it is, in a few months time it'll have fermented and have become delicious cider. Another weird thing I know is that headphones can be used as a microphone to a certain degree, but it depends on the headphones I guess or something. So EP, what're your life hacks?
ALLERGIES TRYING TO BECOME YOUR KISMESIS!? Yes... WOULD YOU LIKE TO TURN THAT BLACKROM INTO A MORE QUIET AND MANAGABLE ASHEN QUADRANT? Yea! WELL TAKE A SPOONFUL OF LOCALLY GROWN HONEY AND EAT IT ONCE A DAY AND BECOME IMMUNE TO NASTY ALLERGIES! Honey! The natural Auspistice.
Alright, I've received some odd from looks from this one, but trust me on this. I guess this applies slightly less to those who are still growing, but get to know how long/wide parts of your body are and be reasonably accurate. If you can learn to remember the measurements then you're essentially a walking ruler.
Learned in boyscouts that the width of two fingers is an inch. Also a bunch of other things. My walking stick is a ruler in its own.
To startup a car(manual transmision) with a low or dead battery: Requires 2 people 1.Put in second gear. 2.Push and grab some speed 3.Let go of the clutch, turn the key and step on the accelerator. If done right, the car should turn on and stay on untill its turned off.
When things seem really bad and you don't know to do and are super confused... Sleep on it. It will give you some time to calm down and you won't be so emotional the next day. It's like I tell my friends; tomorrow is always better. "When you can't walk, you crawl. When you can't crawl, you find someone to carry you." Never be afraid to ask for help or depend on another person for support. It is not a sign of weakness, so swallow your fiddlestickin pride and involve others. Sent from my Inspire 4g using Tapatalk

If you wanted one, you could write a small site-let that you can embed in to your sig and it keeps track of rep.
Have you ever had to talk to someone that your really not feeling like talking to right now? Just use arbitrary sounds as responses, some of my favorites are the interested "ahh", the deep thought "hmm" and the well-rounded all purpose "ohh".
That is a tricky one, you have to time it so you don't giggle at something inappropriate, or at seemingly nothing at all. Otherwise they will question you and then you will have to admit that you weren't listening in the first place! Get it right though...and it's a charm!
