Masks and lying. These can get you out of trouble or get you connected, but they can also do the opposite if you're not careful.

Don't make important decisions while clouded by anger. Take some time to calm down (usually days if you can) and clear your head. (This one can't really apply to me because of the way I handle anger and because I'm not clouded by useless considerations such as past respect while mad).

Doing it right the first time is better than messing up and having to do it twice.

Shopping: Name brands are often times the same as generic, just 25-50% more expensive. (This especially applies to OTC medications.)

Make fire without matches in an airplane crash site...

Remove a spark plug from a not blocked engine wire it to the spark cable and ground, you'd need additional cable, remove it from not necesary wiring (like dunno, ADF antenna) or landing lights... test you got spark by turning propeller (magnetos on of course)

Get a coffee mug size recipient, fill it with cotton stuffing (seat cushions work great). Damp the stuffings with some drops of gas (even a dry tank contains at least a quart of fuel) put the spark plug tip over the stuffing, turn the propeller and you got fire!

Method 2. If you got a gun and a lot of ammo, remove the bullet and half of the gunpowder, place that over dried branches and leaves (just the powder), get the bullet case, with half of the powder, cap the open end tightly with cotton, chamber the cartridge and fire not over your fireplace, watch were cotton felt, now lit, place it with care on your fireplace, got fire.

A really good fire making aid, is the scratching surface on matchboxes (not blue heads) cut this and save, when you need to make fire, burn a piece, it burns wildly...

Learn how to use a swiss knife can opener.

Welding on parallel some speakers (those on the musical greetings cards) make an hydrophone, worth some grands comercially...

You can temprarily fix a busted car leaf spring by replacing it with a tree trunk, place it under car frame and over the axle, secure it with rope, drive slowly.

When you need to solder something, use sellotape. The battery in my GBC catridge is secure.

I am now angry. I could have saved so much money what with all of the wiring in my beast skullcandys breaking! DAMN IT!
Oh well. My current ones are better anyways.

Probably because Skullcandy headphones are blah. My brother's $15-20 headphones are as good as $70 Skullcandy headphones. Useful if you're not an audiophile, I guess.
