SPOILER WARNING I thought AppleJack did it the whole time the was she was looking at the cake and when it wasn't her I was really surprised. I thought it was a good episode, not the best that (belongs to "Hurricane Fluttershy" in my opinion) but still very well done. It was suspenseful and funny. 9/10

So I was VERY surprised that Applejack was not behind eating any of the cakes. However, I thought it was nice that there was three ponies behind it instead of one. (Even nicer that it was the heroes, because you wouldn't think that). My biggest problem with this episode was that it was a mostly unsolvable one. (Only Rarity was the only one you could figure out). I like the random scenes like the silent movies, the James Bond, and the ninja scene. Even though those scenes took away from the mystery part of the show, and they felt a bit long. The moral was a nice one. Of course, Celestia at the end was nice, and so was Pinkie Pie eating the cake. I do wish they did more jokes that made fun of mystery shows. Like the "And Twilight will play the lowly assistance who asks silly questions with obvious answers." That is funny! I do find it nice that besides the hats, there weren't any Holmes jokes. The beginning part wasn't that funny, but it was nice. It was a little bothering to see Pinkie Pie STILL jumping to conclusions when it didn't make any sense to. I know it's Pinkie Pie, but she isn't stupid. Overall, it had nice moments, but I wanted the Mystery part of the episode to keep in or at least poking fun of them....yet it never comes or it sort of does it. Of course, this episode helps to show why I think Applejack is best pony! I'm forced to give this episode a 7/10. It wasn't bad, but it could have been better.
watched this one on mini meetup. As cake was ruined, I said it was Rainbow Dash, so I was partially right. It was good episode, I specially likes that James bond reference, it was awesome. Also ninja donkey(mule) was awesome. Still last few episodes were epic, so this one gets 4/5.
My first guess was everyone, but I didn't really know after the others were eaten. I thought the moose head ontop of the cake at the end was a little creepy, but other than that I like what the did with the leftovers.
I didn't exactly like the episode too much, although I did notice something near the end. The second judge's cutie mark was the exact same as Apple Tart's cutie mark (One of the apple family when Applejack introduces them in episode 1)
I dunno about unsolvable. The first time, Pinkie chased the culprit to the caboose, but she was gone. Clearly that means they could fly (also you could see RD's silhouette during the chase). You could also see Fluttershy's silhouette during her chase, and the shape of her tail while shoveling coal.
Fluttershy's Silhouetter looked like Applejack to me. Also, I had a tough time seeing the Silhouettes anyway.
Well it was nice but not so great I'm afraid. :S Still, seeing more characters was good. My favorite part: Celestia licking her lips at the end. She does it in such a cute manner :3
I liked it. It was fun, it had a good lesson, and I'm happy to say my predictions of who did it were wrong (those tricky devils). Oh, and the three bakers' sequences were SO AWESOME! I mean, seriously, how many things can beat ninja mules? Now, we just have to wait for the finale. The fact that a two week wait seems so daunting doesn't bode well for what'll come after. I'll probably be gnawing on the furtniture by June.
That was my face when i realized Fluttershy would betray the Cakes' trust just for a taste of a cake. I was truly disappoint.
*Facehoof* how could they... Then again if you think about it it was next to completly Pinkies fault XD
Ok, I actually got around to watching the episode. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. The scene with the blinds threw me off. If it was magic, then the blinds clearly should have been glowing, especially with it being nighttime.
