    Well, I'm not too sure really, let me list my for and against.

    For:

    Bronyism
    Will result in jail broken iPad
    Will be fun
    Will go with all my other pony stuff

    Against:

    Jailbreaking voids warranty ( though re-enables warranty when unjailbroken )
    Could get hate from friends, though, I don't mind too much.

    ------
    I'm not too sure, it's a 3rd gen iPad. And was expensive.
    ------

    If you really value your iPad, then don't do it.
    Warranties are helpful things and you'll only regret it if something happens to it.

    Still, if you're extra careful, then by all means it's your choice. Ponies are always good on anything. :)

    Thank you for your feedback on hacking!
    I've jail broken my iPod touch 2nd gen already, I have had little problems with it, though, if the iPad were to go wrong, I have no computer to restore it, because the iTunes on my Laptop is messed up badly, and not even totally removing it and re downloading works :/

    I do value my iPad, but Jailbreaking can do so much more than iOS can do, but I can regain my warranty if it does mess up, because going through the settings I can do a full restore on my iPad without a computer, as if I just bought it.

    That is awesome dude! My dad and I work together when we hack stuff, so I don't really have to worry because he will be there in case I make a mistake. The stuff we've built and hacked together...

    I would love to hack stuff proffensionally, Futuristic styled computers that you would see in a movie set like.. A thousand years from now.
    I would love to hack a computer to make it like that.

    Like them google glasses.
    I would love to have a pair. I mean, it's a fricking HUD! It reminds me of the Halo : CE marines so much, or even Vegeta's scouter.
    I'm sorry, I love technology.

    As long as you know what you're doing, go for it. Plenty of people have jailbroken their Apple products successfully, why should you're attempt be any different to theirs. Besides jailbreaking has huge benefits.
