    What happened?
(Besides the fact it's now at the maximum of 400 characters than the previous 1000 character limit.)

*Looks at Sig.* Err....guess I'm one of the ones to still have one over 400.

I'm guessing you probably shouldn't ever edit your signature again. If you do it won't let you keep that signature. :p

But yeah, I'm guessing that they decreased the limit because 1,000 extra characters can be a little... spammy. I know other forums I go on even bring the limit down to 250 or less. Some of the forums also have a signature size limit to prevent giant pictures from being used as signatures.

Anyways, if you use your URL shorteners and don't type a story in your signature, you should be fine. (Well, maybe not you directly DRD. I don't know if that many links would be under 400 characters even if you shortened them.)

Well I haven't known about this limit until I decided to change tinyurl for oat.nu, to save a couple more characters. [Then when I tried to save the signature, it said something about the 400 character limit now.]

Although I have like... "11" URL's that were tinyurl'd they barely made it under 1000. I was going to change my static image for a better looking picture, but I'll have to stick with this, since I know 1000 characters may be a lot for spam.

(Mine doesn't really look that cluttered, just symmetric and AWESOME! :omg:

Anyways I haven't seen anypony else have a signature that has so much info as I.

I did mention briefly in EP's News #2 l. I'll be changinh a lot of minor settings around the forum, just experimenting really. But yeah I gigured some of the signatures were getting a wee big but that's more image size than char limit.

I guess so, good change although I don't want to change my signature anymore, since I would have to reduce it to 400 characters or less now.

Sadly If I decide to make the change permanent I will be manually editing your signatures to comply (if you fail to do so).

Call me a killjoy but some of your signatures take up more space than your posts o_O

    Sorry guys :(

You Killjoy :derpe: It only takes up like 20% more than all the regular users.

EDIT: Maybe because the :omg: emoticon takes up alot of vertical space. I just don't want to see my signature go :(

EDIT 2: Notify me if you do so.

Reason why i sent for a compact table.
Though my sig will allways be longer than my posts cus posts in text games are allways short

If you removed the bottom smily and the top dashies/the banner it would be fine height wise

I understand mine may be a bit obnoxious too. I would have made it smaller too if I knew how. Isn't there image size code you can use. But would this keep you image at the same quality.

The signatures that are about 300-400 pixels in height seem too high for me. You don't really need to make it huge.
Signatures should be just fun graphics under your post, kind of explaining what and who you are.
