The way I try to get around that is to just draw it, it'll turn out boring and crap yeah, so draw the whole thing again over the top fixing/changing/adding more detail to parts. I guarantee it'll look better but if it's still not there, then just repeat the process as many times as necessary. If fact, since I've moved to drawing digitally this is how I drawing everything.

Well, I feel silly, I read your post wrong. I read it as meaning as soon as you go to start drawing your brain sort of 'blanks out'.

I think i can relate a lot as well, but not in the creative sense, since I do nothing creative. Its always in the inconvenient of times when you figure out a solution to something, like when i walk out of a maths test, and realize how to do something but didn't when i was taking the test :derpe: I'm not much of an idea person, so perhaps I can't relate as much. I have a very similar problem. I have a song stuck in my head, but I have no idea how to write it. I guess we'll have to soldier on and use trial and error until we get it right.:derpe:
Hi Xan! As usual, conversations prevail with the departure of Sparky. :derpe: Now that I have a phone, I just make a note when I get an idea at work. Helps me remember. Now all I have to do is talk myself into digging out my drawing notebook. Psh, please. That's not even scary.

Doggy it is! What's everyone up to? I'm playing Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir and it's pretty awesome! Exorcising ghosts they try to attack me out of a cursed book using my 3DS as a Camera Obscura.
I'm trying to get some drawing done before I go to work (I'm so close to being able to start colouring) but the closer time gets to when I have to start work the less motivated I am.
