Playoffs are going on... tonight it's the Kings vs the Canucks... thoughts? huh? huh? >< and no smack talking please D: let us speak of this manly sport like classymen... with sticks... and sharp skates and... this is seeming less clasy...
Hockey's pretty cool. I'm not really big on sports to be honest, but I like watching it from time to time.
RIP Mikey. You will be missed. xP I actually have a friend who has a full time job working as an event coordinator for the Dallas Stars. XD Ohyeaand... Wesker x3
Hehehe... I want a holiday episode where they settle their differences by playing a great round of friendly (hahahahah) hockey! Would that not be hilarious? >:3 <such a great friend>
Nordic & Canadian teams > All. Because they have epic countries. Also, why do Americans give teams names like 'Stars', 'Kings', 'Giants' or whatever?
Cause 'murrca... <_< enough said. Anyway. LA is up 3-0 versus Vancouver, but that's without Daniel Sedin who is playing tonight. Kings play better away then at home, too. So this could end bad tonight, but they're still my team so I'll keeping believin'!
Winnipeg got the Jets back. Hartford needs the Whalers back too. But for me, I was up watching my home team win last night 4-3 Panthers over Devils! Go Cats! I have a Matthias jersey, that's why I chose that pic.
We have big egos. I've never seen a hockey game....my Mom wants to take me to one though. I want to go...watching dudes beating eachother with sticks sounds fun.
Kings lost after losing steam in the second period. I expected it but hoped it wouldn't be true. We also may have been cheated out of a goal by the refs. I am still waiting on confirmation. But Vancouver outplayed us. But we are okay. We have three more chances to get the one win we need. ^________^ Also met some really awesome Vancouver fans outside! Canucks won but i still say GO KINGS GO! Anyone else have commentary? Hehe Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk 2
I still find it quite funny that San Jose has a competent hockey team. It seems like such a random location to me haha But yeah, Sharks are down 2-1, but at least the games have been sorta close. Bruins however, are still rollin. Up 2-1 over the Caps, goin for the second straight cup. With Timmy Thomas in goal, we can't be beat
I will admit that I actually have a distinct dislike for a good portion of San Jose fans, or at least the Southern Californian San Jose fans. We've had a lot of trouble with them at Staples Center, ranging from really rude bash talking (which is typical for any fanbase) to spitting at a female Kings fan. As for the team, they are a rather good team but I find myself not able to like Ryane Clowe after he played the puck from the bench (cheated, basically). Sometimes we get caught up in the moment, some people cheat, some don't... but the fact that he didn't own up to it disappointed me greatly. BUT, I'm not saying the entire team is filled with cheaters. That's one time in a game series, cheating will happen in any sport; I just lose respect if it's not admitted. But aside from that, San Jose IS a threatening team, I'm willing to admit that. And I wish best of luck to the Bruins! Not a big fan of either team but if I had to pick I'd go for the Bruins. XD But the Kings are still in it, so unless they (strangely) make it to the Stanley Cup... \o/ Go Kings Go. Hehehehee.
Yeah, Sharks fans can be pretty obnoxious, I'm not really one myself (total Bostonian), I just like them cuz they're fun to watch, they're local, and they're another team that i have a reason to root for in the playoffs. In any Sharks Bruins series, i go Bruins all the way. Though I'm not saying that Boston fans arent just as irritating. (obnoxious Pats fans, anyone?) To quote a local radio guy, we're M*squee!*s :derpe: but Boston sports and fans are just unbeatable in terms of spirit and commitment to the team, so i love em to death
Yea; Kings fans need some work in terms of "sticking with them to the end" because I've seen half the center clear out when the Kings are obviously going to lose with only a few seconds in the game, but I stay there with the rest cheering them on til the clock reaches 0. But the LA (hockey) fans are pretty awesome too. And we're extremely loud when we want to be. I'd say Kings fans are the best but sometimes they don't show their enthusiasm, were as I believe in cheering from the moment the hit the ice to the momenty they leave, no matter if they win or lose.
