simply: best episode ever. I was first one to be skeptical about this episode, I mean, how can episode about royal wedding be better than Lesson Zero, Sweet and Elite or Luna Eclipsed, even teasers and spoilers didn't look so spectacular, but I was wrong. very wrong. This episode is pure perfection. clean 5/5
Wow, that was fantastic! I didn't expect such awesomeness from these. What a way to end the season- I can't wait for season 3! But for now, There are songs I must hunt and download...
*SPOILERS* Oh my gosh.....I just realized. This episode explains why we always see multiple copies of background ponies throughout the series, like four Lyras or Berry Punches in a crowd....they were all Changelings, probing Equestria for weaknesses!!!
I'm am seriously Lost for words for this Episode. This is how you go out with a finale for Season 2. This whole two-part Episode was like watching a Theatrical Movie. I Smile in the end and it filled my heart with warmth and happiness. This is a Truly The Greatest Series of All Time. I'm am Seriously grateful to be part of it. :3
I do forgive the first half because it is set-up. I am, again, annoyed that NONE OF TWILIGHT'S FRIENDS LISTENED TO HER! The music for the first half was okay. Maybe it will be better after a second hearing, but I didn't feel anything. The first half only got good at some moments. One of them being when the Evil queen sent Twilight away. That's when I really started to get into it. The second half was better. I thought the music was much better and the ending was better too. I also like how the elements didn't win the day. YES! A little annoyed Luna didn't play a bit, but it seems that Luna sleeps during the day. I find it a little hard that Celestia lost since the Evil Queen did only win that because the Writers said she did. 8/10 for the first half. But It's a low 8/10. It had some interesting moments here or there, but I did what it needed to do. I forgive it, but it was a tad boring. The second half I also give an 8/10, but this isn't a low one. I felt that everything worked out better this time. Including the music. Only problem was that it felt underwheming.
Absolutely brilliant, in every conceivable way. Songs were amazing, the plot actually had me fooled at one point (which has only happened once before), and i LOVED all of the tiny shout-outs to bronies with the canon-izing of things like Lyra's and Colgate's voice, or Vinyls purple (not red ) eyes. I set my expectations reeally high on this one, and i wasnt disappointed at all. The only thing i didn't love was the sorta corny ending of the touching of the horns and the "my love will give you strength", but hey, its a kids show. 10/10 for being absolutely amazing. Couldnt have ended the season better. *sigh* now its just gotta hold us off until fall...
Well, you'd think that a being that feeds on the power of love and uses same power to defeat Celestia should have been more aware of the possible danger once the heroes decide to use said power against the villain, but oh well, much like with Discord, the queen's arrogance was her downfall. (Not to mention sending Twilight to the only pony able to unveil the queen's ruse in the first place instead of just rolling with the "discredited" Twilight. Kinda makes you wonder how the story would have played out if the queen had been just a little bit smarter and not so busy being obviously evil.) Not to mention that I'm just the slightest bit disappointed at how easily Twilight's friends disregard her concerns. Again. ... And yet, I can't deny that this two-parter was a pretty epic finale. I liked it.
Boy was that a good season finale. Just like Yami, I was hoping for Luna to make a heoric cameo during the changeling invasion but she didn't :/ But that wasn't enough to dissapoint because she does appear...at night. Which leaves Luna fans to wonder what she does all day. Sleeping away like a bat sounds right to me. Anyways, yes! This was a f**kin AWESOME episode.
That episode was so awesome I don't think I can list all the ways in which it was so. But here are some of my reactions to parts of it: Spoiler: My Reactions (After Cadence is vindicated by Shining Armor) Me: Wow, I was sure she was the evil one... but yeah, Twilight, you did go a little overboard... (After Celestia reprimands Twilight for her actions) Me: -jaw drops- You've screwed it up good this time, Twilight... You are in some serious doo-doo. (Immediately afterward, when Twilight sings the second part of the BBBFF song) Me: -eyes tearing up- (After Cadence says "Oh, you will be," and lights the fire around Twilight) Me: -jaw drops again- She did not just...OMG!!! She really is evil!!! TWILIGHT WAS RIGHT AGAIN!!!!
