I would like to assist! Everypony has helped me a lot since I joined, I'm on whenever possible and I think I should return the favour.
I'm up for doing this. I normally spend a lot of time here and I can be sensible if I want. If the job is trying to make this site even better, then I'll gladly join.
I'd like to join, i always have good ideas to solve problems. I'm also very creative and eventually, i'd like to help with the site's skins (maybe i could help developping a skin, and make some programation of for an automatic-refresh forum section, as well as help fixing the radio chat. Maybe creating one.) I joined recently, but i'm here to stay, so please lemme help to developp this amazing forum.
Thanks for stickying this, Grey! I've notified Grey of all current potential candidates for this, so expect an invite to the group for those whom I recommended!
HOLY-SWEET-CELESTIAL-GODS! There are a LOT of ponies that are interested... ~scratches mane~ Some of which I know and didn't even expect to say anything in this thread let alone know they were on this site. Bob... You know who you are. ~points hoof~ Anyways... I hope we can accommodate so many ponies... ~taps chin~ Though I think we may need a bit of a screening process now with so many applicants, but the thing about that is it seems a little fascist. Hmm... Just rambling here mind y'all.
For now, the following applications have been approved: Xaniith, Darkshine, Tyro the Fox, Lighting_Mustang and BDog-1996 Although I'd like to note this doesn't mean the rest of you won't get in in the future, keep the applications rolling. @Oatmeal - We encourage Everypony to discuss the site in this site discussion forum, just because you're not on the review team it doesn't mean your voice won't be heard. The review team is merely an idea to get staff and a group of members working more closely together. Posting your own issue/suggestions in the site forums and/or suggesting your stuff to a member of the review team or a staff member by PM is highly encouraged!
Yeah. I agree completely with that. ^^ I didn't mean their words wouldn't be heard, I was just talking about the group alone in that post and how it'll grow. OF COURSE we want y'all to say what's on your minds. Say it loud and proud! The group is just a group that helps organize the things. Similar to a union I suppose. We have just as much power as everypony else. Nothing special. But if you aren't in the group but feel that you want us to bring something up, like Grey said, PM any of us (or all. ) or something. That being said, if you're not in the group, you CAN still do things outside of it. Again. The group is nothing special, it's just for those that want to help.
I'd love to join! I'm fairly active around this forum, and I've been more active here than on any other site. I'd love to help out in any way I can, and as I'm usually quite strict with feedback, hope I can point out some things that could be fixed. Edit; Looking at the discussions, I believe that there's some things I can definitely add to; I'd make sure to be constructive
The hyphen is in the wrong place... But anyway, thanks for letting me join. I've already contributed to the current discussion.
this would be awesome I got a few ideas to help right now *ahem* : There should be more moderators on the chat lines, more djing, role playing allow on chat lines, and games on the site that are pony related.
I'm probably more active then I should be, considering the life I have. After all, I participate in Radio chat while I'm at work. Though it doesn't impede my work. *cue innocent grin* Anyway, I will be active in the group as what would be the point if I wasn't? In terms of addressing problems, I am generally extremely really good at that. There are moments my humanity gets to me and I make a (sometimes horrible) mistake, but I am good at being reasonable, logical and looking at things from all sides. And I think most of you know that I don't join something just for "the lulz" as you so amusingly put it. xD I've always looked at things for making things better for the site and for its members; and I do my best to go about things the right way. In this group things wouldn't be solely on me though, so I wouldn't have to worry about "doing something on my own" and a group settling like that is always something I've been able to do really well in. I really would love to help out, I'm a good observer for the most part. <3 Whether this is accepted or not, however, this was a fabulous idea. Thank you guys so much for putting this together.
I want and would like to help the site out in any possible way, but I fear I wouldn't be of much help in such a case as this. I am a problem solver but coming up with ideas is something that I lack, as others on this site know I have said. I guess I could give it a shot, but perhaps it would be best to not expect too much from me. I am under constant pressure from all angles which may impact judgement than if I was in a different situation, and perhaps a different state of mind. I can admit that I haven't been the best member on the site, and I've kept opinions on such matters on previous grounds to myself, for fear of escalating drama. Ah, perhaps I'm too timid and humble for the job, take it as you will. I will be fine with it either way. i wish to be a dj too.
So what's happening about this? This thread's been empty for almost a week, and I'm unsure what's going on... Are you waiting for more replies before you reject or accept us? Or have you got enough people?
We've got a good number in discussion within the group, we'll probably try and get some more at a later date. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
Hello, I would love to help with this. I have been in multiple forums before and I have found things that need help but nobody would listen when I tried to show a bug or a glitch. I really feel like I have a good eye. I would love to help make EveryPony get better than it is and help with catching little things! But I'm also not sure you may want a younger kid to be on the team though but I would love to hear soon!
I'm on a small leave atm, but I'll definitely review some of these applications upon my return! Glad to see so much interest and enthusiasm, thanks everypony!
(I've dealt with vb forums as a user for close to ten years, and as an owner/admin of an ezboard/yuku forum 8 1/2 years). There's a finite degree of things that can be done with an as-is out of the box forum set-up. With upgrades, add-ons and such you can really jazz the place up feature-wise: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/ but that stuff costs an arm and a leg. 'Sometimes you need to first know what questions to ask'. It would be good to first know what options are available for consideration, IMO. Wishing for stuff that couldn't possibly happen is pointless..
