When I saw the title, I thought there was going to be some extreme shipping going on. My hopes have been crushed Nevermind. You bring up a good point but I don't think Luna would attack her sister's kingdom again, especially after she learn about friendship and the other stuff.
I'm not saying that per se. True they both appear to be shape shifting sorceresses with similar body types, vast power equal to Celestia, and bat winged minions who want everyone in Equestria to love them, but think of it another way. We've all been wondering why Luna looks so different this season from the last time we saw her in Season 1 and why she didn't show up until season 2. It's possible Chrysalis has the read Luna in a cave somewhere and the real princess if muttering something along the lines of Die Hard 2. "How can the same ^&%&^(% happen to the same pony twice?"
Actually Lauren Faust already explained this and its also way, way more less complected then what your thought is heading Luna turned into nightmare moon when she was what you saw her in season 1 and remained as nightmare moon so her real self never grew up, so when she turned to normal in season 1 you saw her as she was, not was she would of been had she not gone crazy and grew up the Luna we saw in season 2 was just those 1000 years catching up on her
