Fire sent a pulse of fire at the attacking tenticle, effectively knocking it back before he went to buck it back into the lake. "One down!" he yelled out.
The tentacle that was attacking Winter suddenly blew apart in a massive gust of wind, revealing Winter unharmed. He raised a massive tentacle of water from his well and slammed it ontop of the lake and freezing it over. He then summoned the earth to completely swallow the lake. After he was done, his eyes were full of hate and he was breathing heavily, "Don't...Mess...With...My....Comrades." he said before collasping.
Ebon jumped to winter, and took a small white cloth pouch from under his hat, wich contained some powder, herbs and rose petals, and spread it on one of those rose petals. He then pressed the folded petal lightly on Winter's forehead, his eyes glowing slightly, with a pale blue color. "Come on, restore yourself. You did a great job", he whispered.
"Damn monsters." Fire said, spitting where the lake used to be. (done you think that's a bit TOO much power, Snow?)
(Well, all he did was simply cover the lake in ice and earth, then proceeded to collapse from exhaustion. Don't worry, he won't be doing that kinda stuff often.)
(that's just it, he simply and quickly solved the problem, which is a rather annoying to me. But as long as this doesn't happen often, I'm alright)
(You could roll a dice, and each time you hit the 6 twice in a row, you could do an "abusive move", like i do. When there's battle, i roll a dice: if it's 1, you fail your attack. 2, you almost miss, and do some tiny-little damage. 3-4, you hit and do realistic damage, 5, big damage, and 6, criticall. When you strike 6, you roll again to see if you can do your abusive move, wich shortens the battle considerably. And, after your shot, it's the enemy turn. Same rule as when you strike, but inversly. (It's a defensive attempt, instead of an offensive one, that's why it's reversed.) I had played dungeons & dragons a lot, and the dices are still following me in my Rps )
(You can make an hasard table... Take a quad sheet, and in each squarre, put a different number from 1 to 6. Don't put a number following another next to it (like a 3 around a 2, or a 4) and not to make some "patterns" too often. Then, take a pen, close your eyes, and randomly point at the sheet to get a number. Easy, but long to make. Another option is to make a dice by cutting a cube in an eraser, or with tape and paper. Most of my dices (i've got 4-dices, 20-dices, 100-dices, etc.) Are made with hetero*squee!* materials taklen from my art classes. Simply be creative, and you'll find dices everywhere~)
(Wow, this RP sure shot forward! Not that that's a bad thing, but I have been left in the dust, lol...) Wallflower came from behind the tree she'd been hiding behind. Normally she would have helped, at the very least a LITTLE bit, and she felt terrible that she hadn't this time; one of these ponies could have died! But tentacles...well, she didn't like tentacles at all. Anytime she saw them, her mind was completely overcome with a primal, irrational, uncontrollable fear. She approached the rest of the party with her ears drooping and her head low.
(Ehh, yeah, sure... I tought i had replied but i think my internet didn't wanted to.) Ebon saw wallflower coming, and smiled gently at her. "That's okay, no need to feel bad. You ain't missed a lot."
She looked at Ebon for a second, a tentative smile on her face, but it was short-lived. "No," she said in a voice barely above a whisper. "I should have been here! I should have helped! Somepony could have gotten..." She paused and swallowed. "...killed... and it would have been all my fault!!"
Ebon laughed. "C'mon, it only was a random tentacle, not a dragon! Ain't like it isn't dangerous, but it ain't that powerfull either."
Winter got up holding his head, "Oh, I forgot why I don't use my powers like that more often." He walked a few steps before collapsing again, "I'm pitiful aren't I?" he said weakly.
"i think i have something for ya in my bag..." He searched for a moment before getting a little purple flower from his bag, then three small pouches, and a mortal and pilon. He took herbs and powders from the pouches, then a petal from the flower, before reducing them to a single powder with the mortal and pilon. He took one of the water jars and added the powder to it. "Here, drink this. Ya gonna feel better."
Firebreeze looked up at the sky, "Huh, looks like fighting really takes time out of the day... I say we set up camp here and keep moving in the morning.
"wasn't it what we planned anyway? Fine with me." He straighten his legs, cracking his 'knees' by the process. "A good night sleep won't hurt."
Wallflower began to gather wood for the fire, while also taking notes on the botanical life of the forest. After all, she had come here mostly to study. Once she had gathered a sufficient pile of twigs, logs and dry leaves, she began arranging them into a teepee shape in the middle of the small clearing they were in, and used a small spark of magic to start the dry leaves underneath on fire.
