Ok, from this we can learn the following things: Lauren Faust is Technically done. Season 2 can be expected to be done much before the date it is set to be finished (December 2011) What is there else to say other than this: I personally didn't really believe she left for another show or something - Why would she do that anyway? Why would she leave such an awesome and successful show to begin with? She did succeed, and I highly doubt she'll just leave like that. Here's the link to the Equestria daily post.
Awesome Avatar! And I presume it's something to do with leglality, perhaps HASBRO wanted something done with season 2 she didn't want to be part of. Who knows?
Well, It seems she'll maybe work on Season 3 and 4 (If there's gonna be that much seasons (We all hope there will be, of course)). She doesn't really It seems like Hasbro, the big company as it is, doesn't really care about us, the bronies and hardcore watchers of the cartoon. They just want to attract little kids to buy their product with the cartoon (mainly little girls) and so profit. It might had caused a conflict between Lauren and Hasbro. But who knows... Judging from the things I read, I highly doubt she had a "fight" (call it like that) with Hasbro. Not even a heavier discussion, she seemed alright the whole time and didn't have anything to complain about. It must be either her pregnancy (oh, forgot to mention this in the main post) or something else. She stated that her pregnancy isn't the reason why she "left", so it must be something we don't know.
But the Brony audience buys weird things (from the company's perspective) spending 1500+ on a sketch and over 10+ for a zipper pull for a backpack only in Europe while not buying the actual toys they're intending to sell
Money from the art went to charity, the zipper things were resold via ebay (for a higher price of course)
I don't care about the toys and merchandise (Official HASBRO labeled ones), it's just another cheap toy. We gotta focus on the TV series, not the toys, so how much Hasbro grosses in with the toys is totally not my business and neither do I care. I am sure MLP FIM the TV show grosses in much more than the toys.
