Okay! Sorry for the delay, but I got group 2 heading out. The RP Post (Hit the Spoiler Button) I left an opportunity for RP during the trip, (which may have some bumps, but I'm not sure yet.)
Well, more like half way down the road from the Ever-Free Forest to Andalusian Heights. Oh yes, and as Darkshine pointed out, I posted each pony's stats in the OP of this thread. Please note that Equinis Faust in TwV have the following base stat adjustments before class or background is involved: Strength +8 Endurance +12 Magic -6 Willpower -2 Speed +4 Perception +4 Knowledge -4 So anypony who has higher in a certain stat is above the average for equinis faust. Unicorns have a +10 magic instead of the -6. Drafts have +14 Strength & Endurance, but -2 Speed and -4 Stealth. Unicorns do, however, gain XP the slowest, (unless they start with a disadvantage like Eleven being mute.) Nopony will have lower than those stats you see. So it doesn't matter so much when matching up against other ponies. Going against something of another species, however... that's when it'd come into play.
Oh, whoops. I have Silver talking to Star. Better change that. :/ And, if it's not too much trouble, could you elaborate on how XP works? Level-ups and such?
Suppose I should, huh? Well, experience is gained through success on class-based actions, or through combat. Leveling up will get you health and mana, and a small boost to training. However, the class you are in is not static. Once you perform enough actions related to your class, you can then become a better class, or another class that you meet the requirements of. I was just going to increase everyone based on their specialization, but if anyone wants to be more involved, they can ask about the classes that come next. Quill and Myself are both experts in the system. Oh Sparky, I noticed your note in the RP Thread and I responded as ES. So you got a response, at least.
You mentioned something about developing classes. Would it be possible if we could get a Class tree of sorts?
Well, the class tree is pretty big. There are ten different trees; One for each stat base, one for rounded, and a cross-class tree. Then, there are 7 tiers that somepony can go through, classing upwards into almost literally whatever they want to be skill-wise. It's madness, really. However, only up to tier 4 is out for public use, (and only 6 of the trees,) so I'll give you an example of the tree movement. Note that each higher tier gives a larger and larger boost to stats and HP/MP and well as better skills for the character. Spoiler: Stealth-Based Classes Base Class: Rogue Second Tier: Burglar Infiltrator Rogue Chaser Thief Thug Third Tier: Bandit Break-In Artist Investigator Silent Killer Spy Treasure Hunter Underling Fourth Tier: Assassin Dungeon Runner Highwayman Minion Ninja Officer Robber Secret Agent
Just so you know, Legion, my character has a natural dislike for unicorns. Don't take anything he says personally
Well, I won't, since I'm not a unicorn, but Silver...well, he especially gets angry when people belittle or insult magic, so. Fortunately he's pretty cool-headed though.
Hope you like my last post. I'm trying to play Arc as being a tough-guy sort of character that'll soften up as the RP goes on. I don't tend to play them usually so I'm not sure how well I'm doing. The nicknames I thought the nickname for Sheild was a nice touch.
Lol "boy scout" describes him kinda well, though it would injure his pride a bit. He sort of likes to think of himself as just a pony who likes what he does and is good at what he does. Which he is, but one of those things is not really getting along with other ponies. :/ But, he is honest and tries to be kind, though his clumsy social skills and his slight arrogance often result in accidentally making other ponies mad at him. xD
Yuparoonie! Oh yeah, and Tyro, Silver hates snobbery. He grew up in Canterlot, but he hated the social part of it, and he knew what it felt like to have people turn their nose up at you; he was known as the pony who tried to avoid get-togethers, and therefore some of his parents' friends (and, at times, even his parents themselves) looked down on him. However, he can act like a bit of a smarty-pony sometimes. Which is seen as arrogance, but really it's just that he expects everypony to be as smart as he is, and is surprised when they turn out not to be. So really, it's because of his lack of self-esteem that he seems arrogant, and also his naivety. You know what I'm saying? Anyways, I really didn't need to say all that, but I'm bored because all my RP's seem fairly inactive. I mean, compared to what they used to be. :derpe:
