It depends on the circumstances. Does Chrysalis have a "love supply"? If she does then she wins it, hooves down. If she hasn't then it's pretty close. Maybe Nightmare moon?
Pretty sure Nightmare Moon only holds love for her sister, which, while Nightmare Moon, is a very small amount. Nightmare Moon still has all her power, so she would win.

Discord wins over almost everything... Depends...How well fed is Chrysalis?If she can get enough power..she may stand a chance.
Nightmare moon can also morph into anything. She was three Shadow Bolts, don't see why not. Nightmare Moon seems to me to have the upper advantage.
Nightmare Moon is arguably more powerful than Celestia as well. Celestia was forced to discover and use the Elements to banish her, always fearing her return after losing her link to the Elements. It also took both Luna and Celestia commanding the Elements to stop Discord, iirc.
I vote NNM. But I see one problem with this. NNM never really showed her true power. She gets smacked down but the elements pretty quick. Queen whats-her-face would have lost just as quickly if the mane 6 had the elements. What if Luna still had some control over her body. Queen whats-her-face attacked directly. NNM never did, she just tried to slow them down. I believe if it was full NNM, she would crush the queen like a bug. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
It's odd that Twilight (or Luna) didn't directly intervene after Celestia was struck down. Nightmare Moon has demonstrated the ability to teleport (herself as well as others), divide herself, manipulate the atmosphere (lightning to dispatch royal guards effortlessly, storms [wind, thunder, lightning]), banish Celestia without the Elements, control the Moon (and possibly the sun), and lastly illusions. It's not mentioned how she cut Steven Magnet's mustache, though. In the end, the Elements merely "cleansed" her. I really don't think Chrysalis or Discord (who is harmless in an indirect sense) has anything on her potential as a villain. Chrysalis seems like the ultimate spy/manipulator, but her array of powers is very lacking. Nightmare Moon forced fear into all of Equestria, where Chrysalis managed to disrupt Canterlot for a day and beat Celestia one on one in a single, unassisted instance. I like how she takes her as a trophy, though. That was a nice touch.
