I would like to introduce you all to a series... After talking with Derpy in the chat, we started talking about The Legind of Derpy. There were sooo many different possibilities with it so I decided to officially announce the newest idea. Spoiler It's a working title though. I am REALLY surprised at how it turned out. (And yes... I misspelled Legend on purpose.
Sure can... 1. It's a comic series... 2. Derpy is the main character (hero) 3... 4. I am currently writing the story for it. But... Uhh... I am hoping to get feedback from anypony that wishes to add to, criticize, or improve what I write. 5. I've actually been thinking that maybe we could have a kind of group project. (Maybe, if anypony's interested I guess) :derpe: 6. I'll just post the first ideas in the thread and maybe later on, make a group for anypony that wants in. 7. Just p.m. me if you want to help. 8. Uhmm... As for the title Grey. I still have yet to decide fully if I'm going to stick with "Quest for the Mark". 9. The other title ideas were "Quest for Harmony" (Sounded too cheesy), "Derpy's Quest" (Something wrong with repeating the hero's name), and "The Crusader's Chalice/Mark/Ring/Quest/Blade/Sword/Fate/I couldn't decide on this one..." 10. Even ten.
Right well it's interesting but I'm still not sure what exactly your 'doing' with it - what your planning to deliver..
Hmm... Well. I WOULD want it to be animated, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon. So it's going to be in the form of comics like normal, but when my pony drawin skillz improvz, then I'll actually start on the art. Right now I am currently working out the title and the story. Derpy has already helped out A LOT when we were talking about the comic. Story: So far... Here's what I got. (It's just a rough outline) (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I WISH IT COULD BE ANIMATED!!!) A giant book comes up (Like in the beginning of mlp) and the page turns to tell the story of the legendary hero, Derpy or some other hero before her. (as pages turn there are funny drawings) You can kind of follow along in this beginning from the Windwaker. After all, this music is what I wrote the following story to go along with. Long ago, there existed a kingdom where a sacred power was hidden. It was protected by 5 sages of harmony. Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, and Loyalty. Watched over by the Sun and the Moon, the lands surrounding it were prosperous and peaceful. But as time grew on, the moon became jealous of the sun because the ponies of the land slept during the night, and played in the day. So the moon went forth and snatched the power from the kingdom. Spreading her darkness throughout the lands so the Sun could never be shown. But then, when all hope had died, as the fields were being engulfed forever in perpetual darkness... ...A young filly, clothed in the garments of the forest, appeared out of nowhere. Wielding the blade of evil's bane, the hero fought valiantly against the Moon's evil tyrant ways in order to seal the evil away for all eternity. The powers of the light and dark clashed in the kingdom of the sacred power. All was looking as if the hero were to be the victorious... But just as the savior thrust the blade into the heart of the evil mare... ...she tricked the hero into a trap. Although the hero had succeeded in imprisoning the mare, the filly was cast into a world of darkness... Leaving the sword on the battlefield with the imprisoned soul of the Moon. Once heard of this... the ponies of the land, surrounding the kingdom, knew that the imprisoned mare couldn't be imprisoned forever. So they locked the sword away so no other evil could wield that power ever again. Never to be used ever... The kingdom you ask? No one knows. And so it is said to this day, that the blade that could destroy the world or save it... ...is locked inside a towering Colosseum somewhere in these lands... Many have gone out to look for the Tower of the Moon, but none have yet to find it... Not yet anyways... I plan on making a combination of this video with these words. But with different pictures and ... words. lol. Tell me what y'all think.

Well for a start it's owned/developed by adobe now ^^ And no it's not free more like $1,000 - However there is a 30 day trial and students are often viable for an 80% discount
Hmm... all I heard was, "$1000"... Yyyyeeeaaaaahhhhhh.......... Moving on. I decided to change the title to fit the story more. YAY!!! Umm... Let's see. I can't come to a exact decision, but... Here are some ideas. The Legind of Derpy: The Moon Struck Sword/Blade The Lunar Sword/Blade [I wasn't a big fan of Lunar or Eclipse due to one of Derpy's songs already having both of these, but if it fits... I guess so be it] The Eclipsed Sword/Blade The Celestial Sword/Blade The (Any of the before mentioned) Coliseum Other moon words: Crescent New Moon (GAWD NO!!!) (Color) Moon [ex. red, black, white, pearl] I couldn't decide on a good name. So I was thinking y'all could help me.
I'm a girl... :| I dunno if it's free.. if you have a torrent downloader like Utorrent, try to find a torrent of that with keygen if it's like photoshop 'coz I heard that you can hack an adobe photoshop...

It's kinda illegal though But if you guys (and gals) are all for that, I can't stop you. - I was looking to do some 2D animation myself for a variety of reasons completely unrelated to ponydom and found the following free software which may be of use to you Pac; http://www.timacheson.com/SkyDrive/...lf.aspx/Pencil/Pencil Animation v0.5 Beta.zip - Free but simple, classic and rough around the edges. It does what it says on the tin but not much more. I'm using this currently it's the more inefficient choice but it's learning curve is like _ yeah.. there really isn't one very, very simple, very effective just extrreeeeeeeemeeeeeely time consuming -_- http://synfig.org/ - I can't work this for the life of me, it looks like it's capable of producing some really neat results and has tweening etc, probably the closest you'll get to flash for free. But if you actually manage to get anything decent done in this please tell me, I couldn't even link layers properly :/
