Indeed. xD I thought that wouldn't happen, and they'd go less insane, tough. At least now we now that deep inside Celestia is a mischevious pony xDDDD For now I can sleep until season 2.
As long as people stick to this format/layout description/+video and we don't end up with duplicates - I'm more than happy for people to stick the threads up, I often don't get the time anyway (I'd only be posting this now if hadn't already been done). Thanks Vinyl EDIT: Just watched it and have one but one thing to say; Rarity's still single
Even with her show of fancy manners and exquisity, I'm sure anyone who'd date her for a period longer then a few days would come to find that she's bat guano insane
Well, if you like somepony, you can tackle that. <xDDDDD Besides, she seems to be the best controlled girl here. She only went angry when she got completely pushed, that's how a lady is supposed to do.
Epic comic idea... Check. Fluttershy related... Check. Bomb related... Check. Hell related... well, not really. | Srs bsns V Spoiler: Insanity explained by a insane man Insanity is actually underrated, not that sanity is overrated. Mostly, people who are insane have a conflict with themselves inside - basically the people who think big, act big and are big. Insanity shouldn't be counted as "negative" - Insane people think over the borders of Logic. If you bronies disagree, remember - this has been written by an insane man... All of us have little to no sanity inside - Our personalities are nothing but walls covering our insanity inside. We all gotta release some steam from time to time - Perfectly explains Fluttershy's reaction in the last episode - She used the "Stare" from time to time to make animals be her friends, but in the latest episode, there was too much resistance, so she cracked and released the whole dose. Her animal caring is just a wall covering her army of *forceful peacemakers* (note paradox) - And that wall is a really thick one. It even helps her from time to time (like in the episode "Dragonshy").
Grey: even when angered, Rarity's still a lady! ;D Still, I just think that, as a humor device, it sort of sounded repetitive after Pinkie Pie already got insane in Party of one, not to mention she wasn't exactly insane in Dragonshy or Stare Master, so it's more likely part of the moment she felt delluded, not from her inner personality (though I might agree she's rather wild on the inside). Also, the Stare is to tame the instincts of the animals and wild creatures, not to force them to be her friends - if she's that mad on the inside, why she did talk lightly and sing when first met them as a filly? I guess to all extents, the Stare's merely what we saw here: being angry or mad is not really Fluttershy, so the shock is inevitable when she shows such stern/agressive expression.
I'm more surprised that she had such a voice. In Sonic Rainboom, she could barely do a "yay" in the beginning, her voice was practically cracking by the end, and now? I'm worried for the second season.
There's something I've thought about when Fluttershy went terrifyingly postal: It's probably just me who feels this way but, I hope no young kids who watched this episode actually got scared (not joking scared, genuinely freaked/scarred) of Fluttershy and this show after seeing her act the way she did. Again, it's probably just me who feels this way.
I don't believe children would be scared. MLP is not the kind of show to have scary characters or expressions, like this (click if you dare). I loved that expression of Fluttershy, tough shocked. But it's not something to be warned about. I don't think children are that easily scared, especially when it comes from a candy-colored pony.
Well, I must say that this episode is not what I expected..this was suppose to be the best episode because it's the season ender but for me, It's just a regular episode.. I like the part when Fluttershy got insane because the animals didn't want to come out and she was like "YOU WILL LOVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Haha .. that really made my day... And it's kinda weird that they mixed it with a little Disney Style.. although Celestia told Twilight that the GGG was always that tragic.. She still invited them to mix it up a little .. I feel sorry for the girls that it didn't turned up the way they planned but in the end, they still shared time with each other.. Over all, it's still a nice episode even if the song is not very catchy...
The song definitely wasn't as great as Art of the Dress or Winter Wrap Up. I said, If it's not gonna be a solo - then it'll suck. Like it always does. Though, I liked the end - it wasn't epic or something, but more of a twist. And am I the only one who thought the GGG is gonna be some kind of Carnival, not a Party?
Winter wrap up wasn't a solo Also note that by Pinkie's interpretation earlier it was shown as a carnival, which is kind of weird if you know what the word Gala means
Oh yeah, I forgot that there is a solo in ep.26.. It's Pinkie Pie's solo called "Pony Pokey" ... And even thought winter wrap up isn't a solo, it's still better than the group song at the start..
Heh, I meant "solo" as in only 1 pony singing most of the song (around 50%), not like this latest one. I never really liked Winter wrap up that much anyway. Art of the Dress is my definite fav... after Evil Enchantress both Versions. Oh, I meant Carnival as in Festival. More precise - Convention. Parties never live up to Conventions and Festivals, so I guess'd...
I was expecting their deception - especially Pinkie's, because she expected a fun party. Gala to me is one of those balls in which James Bond would jump out of nowhere to save the daughter of the president after an explosion from a terrorist organization spy. No wonder Celly said it's always awful.
BLASPHEMY Btw, Winter Wrap up is mainly split up among all of them fairly equally so that's not around 50% (it also successfully uses choruses, at least to a better degree then At the Gala did) Evil Enchantress is a bit short imo to be compared really, they never turned it into a full fledged song, but that was also fairly early in the season and it seems the trend was to increase the song content as it went on.
