Hahahaha no. The summers can get just as bad as anywhere else, but since you're usually within a 10 mile radius of a lake, it's all good.
As hot as anywhere else? How hot are you talking exactly? Last year, every single day from mid-May to mid-September was 95+ and humid here in Georgia.
Damn, I take that back, during Summer, it normally stays between 75-95. But there are plenty of days when the best advice is to stay the buck inside.

I do Xan, Minnesota winter was brutal to me for the first 12 years of my life, given that I can handle cold better than most people down here in Chicago, but it's hellish.
Of course, to be fair, that was a record-breaking summer for us. And they say this summer will be much the same...Not looking forward to working in that. But it's way past time for me to sleep. Good night, guys!
I was referring to where I live, and at uni. People mindlessly complaining, where it is heat and humidity that they need to watch for. Cold, cloudy days can lead to colds, while sunny, hot days lead to skin cancer. They call me an idiot for liking the cold, and staying inside when its hot. I call them an idiot at their hospital bed.
