I should somehow find a way to discover brony's in my school without revealing what it is. Maybe I'll try doodling some pictures and humming some tunes that brony's would instantly recognize. Thanks guys!
The beta has ended. I've pre-ordered, so I can download early, but I can't play till the 15th. or the 16th, coz America.
Ah I see, I probably won't be able to buy/play it until some time in June, which sucks It's pretty much the only game I've been excited to get for the past few years.
N'aww Speaking of which, I wonder if other people here are interested in doing some co-op online with it.
hey everypony. i'm really sorry i haven't been on for a while, but i've been super busy and have had barely any free time. i'm here for a while at least today
Well, there I was, right? All doing my job and crap, making work 40% cooler with my Rainbow Dash cutie baseball hat and my Rainbow Dash cutie polo shirt. it was a pleasant day but a bit rainy, so I took off my safety vest to cool down a bit. A while later, I turn around at one of the cart corrals to see someone walking in my general direction, looking at me. Curious, I was going to say hello, but the words were caught in my throat when I saw a giant Derpy on his shirt. My mouth agape, this guy greeted me like an old friend. A moment later, I roused from my shock and shook his hand, introducing myself. He turned his hat around (he was wearing it backwards) to reveal that it was in fact the same hat I myself was wearing at the time. Needless to say, the conversation very quickly turned to ponies and bronies. It turns out he's a member of a site called www.rainbowdash.net and a Facebook group called Canterlanta, a group, as its name implies, for Georgia bronies. He mentioned he had 3 brony friends, to which I said none of mine were. I forgot to mention that two of my firends know of my bronyness and support it and actually like the show themselves, but aren't bronies. At some point in the conversation, I mentioned I wished there were meetups around here, to which he immediately said he's working on it. Not only do I encounter a brony randomly at work, but he's organizing a meetup?! Not wanting this to be a one-shot encounter, I asked if he had Skype. He said he did and we exchanged our account names, so that I can communicate with him and keep tabs on the meetup development. Currently he's planning for the 23rd of this month, but if not, he said he'd try for the 22nd of next month. that way, we could all go see the new Pixar movie, Brave, together! He asked me to stick around a little because his friend was at the Sam's Club next door and would be back shortly. I continued slowly doing my work, not going to far, but not lollygagging around either. A minute or so later his friend showed up, decked out in an Applejack shirt. We shook hands and introduced ourselves and had a nice conversation about ponies. Standard fare and all that. And while we were talking, I got a random text message from Verizon (perfect timing!) and my phone screamed, "Nopony else gives a flying feather!" as I have it set up to do. That went over quite well! After a few minutes, I started to feel guilty for stopping work for too long, and bid them a friendly farewell. So, I met bronies in my area, and got contact info for one of them, and may become part of a larger Georgia brony community before long! All because I took my safety vest off, revealing RD's cutie mark on the left breast, and put my RD cutie hat on in case the sun decided to come out. If I hadn't done those things, that guy wouldn't have flagged me down in the parking lot.
