I love Applejack's stomp move. I would probably jump from character to character.

 

I would play as Twilight because everyone who knows me would expect me to.

And also I like her moves, ranged combos ftw! : D

This should be a super like Dark Phoenix (though not as ridiculous in damage). I think it would function like Blood Kane in BlazBlue where Ragna gets increased range and damage with his drive attacks (they use the power of darkness and leech a little bit of life). However, I would definitely prefer Nightmare Moon as a *separate* character.

 

Or it could work like Samus/Zero Suit Samus in SSBB?

One thing I've learned from fighting games, especially the ones that have recognizable characters, is that going for a favorite character isn't always best because their fighting style may not suit your playing style. So instead of choosing a favorite character, I instead will check to see which one best suits me. One aspect I'm looking forward to is a character that specializes in grabbing. Like clark from the king of fighters. I love that kind of fighting style :3

 

I'll pick the one that's closest to Dan Hibiki in all honesty. I'll be sure to pick Low-Tier as I always do, and no doubt they'll throw in a joke character not meant to be taken seriously. I'll be maining him/her.

 

I normally go for faster characters, so my Dashie will be perfect- I know it already, I'll be all over the place, dodging and diving and tackling... I'll probably do well as Pinkie Pie too. XD

Right now it's looking like Rarity and Applejack will be A-tier with Twilight and Pinkie at B-tier.

I'll probably go with Pinkie. Since she is my fav of the mane6. They also stated that she is a charge character. Seeing how I love to play Bison in any Street Fighter game, she should fit me fine. As for other characters, I'd like to see: Trixie, Gilda, all 3 CMC's (as one character), Derpy, Vinyl, Octavia, and Dr. Whooves. Lyra could just be a pallete swap for Twilight and Pinkie for Bonbon. Celestia may be too powerful for a playable character in my opinion. But I'd welcome her to the roster if they announce her.

 

I'll just play how I play Soku and Brawl.

Pick the most unmanly character/most manly character and then proceed to punch things until they die.

You just don't mess with Jigglypuff.
