If Diamond is in it then I'll shall use her. If not her then Trixie, if no Trixie then Dash. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
I'd LOVE to play as Spike! That'd be awesome! Also, Derpy changed his musician name to Whitetail, so I was just using what he goes by now. But you're right, it is him.
Hopefully they'll have lots of palette swaps for the characters, that way I can play as Raindrops instead of Rainbow Dash.
They specifically said -no pallette swaps-. They need a Cameo. I don't care from what fighting game, just plop someone in there. Summon, Attack, Whatever. Mitsurugi or Siegfried, MAKE IT HAPPEN.
from what I can tell I know the following. pinkie pie is a screen teleporter rarity is a projectile twilight is a charger applejack is a combo/grapple? fluttershy the cheap joke character (like light yagami in mugen) idealised predictions rainbow dash no freaking idea. trixie-I'd want her to be teleporter (like bison). in fact yes much like bison. making copies of herself and such cutie mark crusaders assists in supers. derpy hooves-that random character with the unpredictable moveset dr whooves-like sakuya from touhou. he can freeze time and create time delayed projectiles and traps vinyl scratch-bass canon and wubs (not gonna happen). most likely play like miku in mugen attacking with floaty music projectiles to trap you. lyra heart strings-no idea. rapid combo chain character octavia-slow heavy type. celestia-boss character luna-super is transforming into nightmare moon (like dark pheonix in marvel)
You DO realize that MUGEN is an engine? In which you can program your own characters? And thus there are like 3 versions of each character out there.
No. What? And no. I like Smash. And no. ...selectable colors for each character? Yes. Multiple times stated yes. Even shown on stream. :/ No. :/ You clearly know nothing then. At all. Please correct thine eyes and read the info on the site and watch the streams. For everyone's sake... Also MUGEN is ***. I love you. ...you too.
Congratulations! You managed to make a post of significant length without contributing ANYTHING useful. Not to mention that half of the useless stuff was the word no, and the other half was random half-hearted attempts at insults. I salute thee.
Tiers? :< Someone must explain that to me, I like fighting games and all but I'm not too big on terminology. But yeah, there won't be Discord or Chrysalis, alas... I'd play so much Chrysalis... But yes, I'm quite certain Trixie and Gilda (who I think is the non-pony character) will be in it. I imagine Gilda's moveset would be a slower, heavier version of Dash's. But for me, starting out with the mane 6 I'd do what LionKS555 said and just test out each character multiple times until I find what kicks the most flank, for me. Also; sorry for being gone for so long. XD Had to catch up when I got back.
I'm no fighting game expert, but tiers show how effective a character is in the game. A really effective character belongs in the S or A tier, like Metaknight in Super Smash Bros. Weaker characters go in C or D tiers. Put all the characters together and you get a tier list. It all depends on how well you use the character though.
That's what I was about to say: People are good with whatever they tend to, well... be good with. XD Most commonly used would be a good classifier, though.
Tiers are what a fanbase considers to be a way of ranking fighters in terms of overall effectiveness. The only tier list I knew decently was Smash Bros. Melee. For example, Fox is considered top tier in Melee because he's really fast, has insane combo potential, his moves have really high priority (meaning if two characters attack at once, the move with higher priority wins out and interrupts the one using the lower priority move), and lots of useful finishers. Mewtwo, on the other hand, it bottom tier because he's pretty slow and all his moves have really low priority, leading to him being interrupted and staggered all the time. Things like this are what makes people create tier lists. Tiers are often something that can't be surpassed by player skill, or can only be surpassed so much. Most of the time, the character itself is just that good. Like if the best Fox player in the world played against the best Mewtwo player in the world, Mewtwo would lose horribly.
