    I'm pretty sure they don't mean it. If they mention it, just tell them that you don't love RD (calmly) and just carry on whatever you were doing. When they stop getting a reaction from you, it'll stop being funny.

    Yep. What B-Dog said. They're probably just screwing with you to get you angered. In my opinion you shouldn't need to convince them of anything. It seems to me that they're just acting silly and annoying.

    Sounds like my brother. He thinks that if he says things like "legion is in love with a purple unicorn from My Little Pony" in public in a really disparaging voice, that I'll stop being a Brony. It's annoying, but ineffective.

    And really, all he's doing is trolling for a reaction. Either from me or the people he's talking to.

    Nothin wrong with that, we all have our fav characters. Heck I have abunch of Knuckles stuff thrown around mah room ( ya'll kids can keep yer shadow's & yer Silver's Knux is & always will be Sonic's one true rival lol.)

    And as for liking characters a lot, i've had a nerd crush on Storm from X-men since I was a wee kiddy. And Twilight is my favorite character from modern toons.

    So yeah nothing wrong with nerding out over your favorite characters, nothing wrong with having merch of em, but if you start calling em your waifu and get as bad as THIS KID, then

    The thing is, I am in love with Rainbow Dash:omg:.

    I see nothing wrong with it. Dash represent something very dear to me, a girl entirely free from the burdens of gender stereotypes and oppression. So is most ponies if I really think about it.

    I'm in love with Twilight, and I have no problem with it. I don't waifu anything as that's a stupid thing to do in the first place. However, I do plan to turn my car into Twilight when I get it up and running. Gonna get it painted light purple with a dark purple stripe and smaller, off-center violet and magenta stripes. Then I'm gonna buy Twilight cutie mark decals to put near the rear wheels.
