I tried Lucid Dreaming once....it was weird. I ended up in a giant field surrounded by mountains. Since I was Lucid, I made myself fly up into the air. I raised both my hands up and brought them down hard, and the mountains flattened.

That's all I was able to do. Lucid dreaming is hard for me, I always end up sleep paralyzed which freaks me out.

Hehe, I did feel like an absolute badflank. I really wish I could do it more.

Ponies, minecraft, AND moogles?! That sounds like paradise.

    Here is my reply:

I know exactly how you feel. In fact, I had to rant to Yami about pretty much the same thing, right, Yami? My parents have, over my entire life, been like that. It's only lately that they've been imposing even more restrictions and other junk, probably just because I'm a teenager and "teenagers are rebellious", so it's the logic of "strap him to the table while it's easy".

It's flawed logic, but apparently our parents don't think so. My parents, especially my dad, love to give me those lectures as well. In fact, pretty much any time I bring up a problem with one of his actions, he gives me a half-hour lecture on respecting your parents, or on how I'm on computers too much, or how I'm the most irresponsible of all his four children, etc. He's definitely a builder-upper. (sarcasm right there, btw.)

I can't stand him, and I've never gotten along with him, but that's my problem. Something else I can relate to you on is the grades/marks thing. I got top marks all through middle school, but my parents didn't say a word. In fact, when I got a little below top marks, I would get chewed out. I've given up on trying to make my parents happy, because they won't be happy. No matter what I do, they just won't be happy, because I think they have me tagged as a failure (for some incomprehensible reason I don't know.). The only thing keeping me going in school, now, is not making them proud, but proving them wrong. I WILL get good grades, I WILL go to a good university or college, and I WILL get a job. I'm not going to give up until I do, because that would mean that all the times that my parents said I would end up a failure, they were right. And I won't let that happen.

My parents, strangely enough, act nothing like this towards my little sisters. When my little sisters come home with C's, they don't get chewed out. B's earn them praise. I got A's, and...nothing. Also: My sisters complain about punishments, and they get removed. I complained about punishments, and they got multiplied. Everything is given to them, such as money, privileges, everything, and they get average grades (maybe a little below), and they are EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL to everyone, wheras my brother and I get perfect grades and generally give respect where it's due, and all we get is crap.

And it's mostly me getting the crap. I've even asked my brother, and he agrees that my dad definitely targets me. Probably because I'm the only one in our family who will stand up and tell him when he's out of line; even my mom just goes into a different room when he starts taking out his stress on everyone else.

Sorry, I'm turning this into my own little rant. But I just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone. My advice to you is this: keep calm. Basically what you're doing now. If your parents are anything like mine, then they have no respect for your opinions or even the facts you may bring up, and they believe that they know what's right for you and that you don't. So, debating, arguing, protesting, etc, will only enrage them. Again, this is only if your parents are anything like mine.

Basically, my advice can be summed up in one word.

    Endure.

I am such a drama queen. :p Maybe I do have some Rarity in me...
Anyways, Simon, I good luck with your parents. :/ Mine will be taking away my PC entirely, no exceptions, over the summer, and so I'll have to go to the public library computers.

Yeah, I have some power to resist them. :trixieftw:

Not a whole lot I can say on the subject, as my parents weren't like this with me, but I heard "hugs," so...

But you assume that we might actually know what we are talking about, or be responsible enough to take care of our own business, or be mature enough to know when we are and are not doing something wrong.

Sorry, whenever I'm mad I say things like that...y'know, sarcastic, cutting, acidic stuff. Instead of raging, I just get real calm and stab at them with that again and again... it's not nice, but sometimes I can't help it, especially when I'm talking about my parents.

I'm not mad at you guys, just to be sure you know that. I'm just frustrated at my parents.

    And thanks, Yami.

Hell yeah. Another chapter of my fanfic written. And thought the time that took me writing it was longer, the chapter isn't. It's still around 500 words.

Eating nutella and apple pie right now isn't helping with writing fanfics. If you only could write by eating.

    Oh, hi! I'm back! Yaaaay!

Twinkle, it'll be coming some time this Autumn, I believe. I'm pretty excited for some of them myself, especially DJ Pon-3 and Nightmare Moon! I still need to get Dashie, too...

We already had this conversation I think...

Doesn't bother me all that much, but it's common courtesy to use the edit button.

Quite a number of times, in fact. IIRC, he doesn't like to use it because "you can't change what was already said." Or something to that effect.

Well he doesn't have to change what he said. He can just put "Edit:" and then whatever would have gone into a whole new post otherwise.

Ok. We have had this conversation. You'll have to love and tolerate me as I am, so I can love and tolerate you as you are. By the way, Has anyone seen a good quality pic of red pony eyes from the front. And, I'm making the cover myself, just in case someone had intended to send me propositions for it.

The thing is, double posting is expressly against the rules. This has nothing to do with love and tolerance.
