How Old Are You?

14..yet i act like a 20 year old.And think like a MIT professor.

I am ashamed for my generation..filled with idiots.

If kids are the future than the futures gonna suck.

 

Well, technically I'm 18, but I'll be 19 in two weeks (2nd June) so yeah, take your pick of 18 or 19.

 

Y'know, I've noticed a lot in past communities I've been to that the people who focus too much on being mature or avoiding childish things tend to be overly insecure about their own maturity and end up being the most immature and childish of them all.
One who has reached maturity casts aside such petty things and just is, while the child refuses to grow up.

I like to think I'm rather mature by finding flaws in my own behavior for improvement, but by doing such things I consider myself more mature, and by my example proves I am less mature regardless of accepting humility.
Though, I do love how age an maturity have no arbitrary connection, yet do at the same time. While just about anybody can act incredibly grown up, it seems to be those who are on the younger side of the spectrum who still have a bit of learning to do.
Hmmm, I wonder how I'll be in 10 years...

I'm 22, but sometimes I bounce back and forth between acting 5 or 50 =P

And I agree with what Zephyr said about maturity. I will add this though; I feel that true maturity lies in knowing when to act conventionally mature and when to let your inner child out =) Those that strive to prove some any level of maturity are themselves immature. It's like Zephy said. Just let yourself be ^_^

I do crazy things for fun, I am a 7 year old inside but I withold it when I am around peers because I HAVE to set an example because of my position in school.

Also, Height and maturity wise I am about 26 year old. So... Yeaaahh...

I don't look my age. Sometimes people mistake me for immature because I can be pretty kittenish.
But I don't really mind. If only they knew...

Awesome, our birthdays are a day apart. Mine is on June 3rd.

 

I'm 22 and still have a lot of partying left in my system. Actually I may not ever grow up on the inside. I was at subway the other day with a friend and the mayo tube made the sound of a fart. I laughed so hard all the way up until I left. At least the employees were chuckling too so it wasn't too awkward. I'm only mature when I need to be or if I'm not with friends. I'm like a kid on the inside. Another thing is I've never been drunk and I never even say bad words in real life or in online gaming. Feels like a mental block when I try.

... I'll be honest, I don't really have much else to say. Just felt that I should add something, y'know? Soo... Yeah.

 

I'm also sixteen, although my mental age ranges from 5-70.
