The "SR20DET" bit is the name of the engine found in the Nissan 180SX (I'm a car nut and the 180 is my favourite car) and the "dog" bit is simply a bit of a tribute to my passed dog. If you're REALLY interested the 'SR' is the engine's code the '20' refers to its capacity (2000cc) the 'D' stands for direct injection, the 'E' is for electronic um... Something lol and the 'T' is for turbocharged. Edit: no wonder I couldn't remember 'E', the 'D' is dual over head cams and 'E' is electronic fuel injection.
thats really cool, I have a basic knowledge of cars. I'm no enthusiast but I have learned quite a bit because of my uncle. So yes I was "REALLY intersted" thank you.
Haha, me too, I've forgotten a bit now but used to know heaps of engine codes off by heart. CA18, RB20, RB26, RB30, VQ30, 4AGE, 1JZ, 2JZ, etc etc. Well there you go, it's very rare for me to find anyone who's even slightly interested in cars, so I don't really tend to talk about them much.
