    You are most likely right. It's just that having a smart person enjoy the show might actually cause people to go watch it or they might treat people who do like it, more fairly.

    Edit: I meant to say they would treat people more fairly.

    I agree for the most part, but the people who don't like MLP are mostly haters and trolls. And those kind of people would just as easily call Stephen Hawking an "autistic idiot in a wheelchair". People who refuse to give MLP a fair chance are just completely intolerant of people who aren't like them. I haven't met a single one who isn't.
