Well Im forteen and i'm a brony I would like to think that a "True Certified" Brony is when he turns 15, But I still think that im a brony, I have a little brother that is 9 who was once a brony, but i just called him a kid that liked mlp (He quit the herd) so here is what I say Under 15, Kid that likes mlp. 15 and over, Brony. But I still consider myself to be a brony but not a "Certified" brony, I am a "Cerified" brony when I turn 15
I'd like to believe that being a brony begins at whatever age ridicule can ensue. If there's a 5 year old kid being made fun of for watching the show, but still does it, he's a brony. If another 5 year old kid is paid no mind for watching the show, he's just enjoying cartoons. Please note, there's a difference between can ensue and does ensue. The biggest variable here is the environment that surrounds said fan.
That makes sense. When you reach the age that you are aware of the reactions you might get from people, yet still enjoy watching the show, I think that can be qualified as being a brony. Of course, how much you take part in the community also affects whether you are a full "brony" or if you just consider yourself a fan.
I don't really see an age requirement. If you are into the fandom you're a brony. Example being my 11 year old sis. She could just watch the show and be called an 'average fan'. But she's into the fan art, she draws her own, she knows all of the fan-given background names, she loves Derpy, etc. I consider her to be a brony.
I know one 11 year old brony that is on this site. That's the youngest I can think of. As for age limitation, I figure if they know the word brony and they go by it. Then why not, they're a brony.
Anypony can love and tolerate. Anypony can watch My Little Pony. Anypony can unite together under one title to spread goodwill to others. Anypony can create fan-based material. Anypony can be a brony.
That. That is what I feel on the situation. As a Brony we call eachother it as a term for the community. Nothing more started the term.
I think a Anyone can be a brony, as long as they are in the community and well ABSOLUTELY LOVE SHE SHOW and draw pictures of ponies and such but that's just my opinion everypony has a different idea of a real brony
"Brony" has a lot of different meanings these days. To me the idea of a brony is the reminder of what we left behind as kids, like real values and such. Once you reach the age where you leave the part of childhood behind is when you become a brony. That usually happens around the ages of 14-16. Just my 2 cents on the subject. At the same time I think that anyone can become a brony, but it certainly isn't for everyone.
