Your parents are um...control freaks.Try to talk to them about this...If you're old enough to drive you should be able to make your own decisions. Just what do they want you to do all day?
I think that Celsius is more logical then Fahrenhiet too. I also like Kelvin, but Celsius is somewhat relative to water, so it's easier to understand.
Well, Kelvin is the best and the most logical, but I have grown up with Celsius. I'm still trying to think in Kelvin. Isn't easy.
It's easier to remember "water freezes at 0C and boils at 100C" than "water freezes at 273K and boils at 373K". I can see the point in using Celsius and Kelvin, but not Fahrenheit.
It's hard making an conversation, by arguing while having the same statement, so I'll post a picture of Lyra and Bon Bon eating each others tails. Spoiler: Omnomnom
Nope. We still have none, as everyone knows they don't. Ok. I think I have an idea. What do you think the time-space continuum looks like? A little bit boring here. Is there anyone there? I'll continue posting gifs.
My sister just told me an amazing concept. "Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo." is all one sentence Now to explain "Buffalo" is a place, saying they are from said place "Buffalo" is plural for Buffalo "Buffalo" is a way to say pushing someone around "Buffalo" is, again, a place, saying they are from said place "Buffalo" is, again, plural for Buffalo Mind = Blown
There's a similar thing in German. Wenn Fliegen hinter Fliegen fliegen, fliegen Fliegen Fliegen nach. The capitalized are animals, flies. The non-capitalized is the verb, flying. It means: When flies fly behind flies, Flies fly after flies.
i predict names being called of me, but I am now teaching myself 3rd year tertiary Maths and Computer Science...at my leisure I appear to be bored.
And I shall call you awesome. I would love to learn more advanced maths myself, but if I don't have any actual use for it then I just end up forgetting it all. I can barely remember what I learnt in highschool maths let alone how to do it. Teach me your ways!
Hmm...there's a nest of baby birds in a bush outside my house. I only found out because the mother dive bombed me when I walked near it. Fuzzy baby birds. :3
thats fair to say. If you don't put your work into application, you will end up forgetting it, but it will be easier to pick it up again. Seeing as I always use the maths I learnt, somewhat unintentionally, I never forget much, or if I do, I can easily get it again.
So the cycle starts again, maybe this time it's just work related. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
That awkward moment when you turn on the TV to watch the All-Star race only to realize you don't get SPEED.
