Imagine a dog food tin with the brand "Tibbles" written on it with my tail, mane, hat, and wings attached to it. That is me, hiding in a tin.
I wouldn't really call it bad parenting to be honest. Some people honestly don't understand that some things can prove detrimental to their child but do it anyway, or it could just be the child not realizing that it's good for them and thus deem it idiotic. Let's go ahead and skip the obvious metaphors, but my point is: It's good parenting if they honestly think it will help their child, but it at the same time be idiotic.
