Grey: Thank you! :3 She'll appear in the future when I release my comic. Well, she comes from a family of farmers, and her mother loved flowers, so you pretty much guessed that she has a green thumb hoof (literally! xD). But she's not into growing plants, she only lives in the middle of a forest. And, just for curious, the thing she's with her hoof on is a cut bamboo lead. It used to be a big bamboo. Her story is not tragic, but is a sad one. There are also the characters in my sig, but I think I'll stop here. I have way too many ponies to show off. xD
I felt left-out so I quickly threw this together =D Can't wait to see more of all of yours, especially in comics and things - This one here doesn't even have a name (I suppose Grey will do ^^) let alone fluff!
Grey: What about Payne Quill? Payne is a tone of grey, as your username suggests. As for profession, he could be a famous writer - or journalist. At least this is what his butt tattoo tells me. And since you have "nightmare" in your username, he could be a thriller writer. What do you think?
Grey: you're welcome. Ask anytime you have an art block or something. ^u^ Now a question: how are unipegs born? Anyone has an idea?
I would assume when either a pegasus and unicorn get together or a pony has "relations" with another pegacorn...
Only Pegacorns shown in the show are Luna and Celestia, and even they have widely different body-styles. It's not really explained, but it's obviously not common/normal for only royalty to have it Also note that it doesn't seem just a family trait, as Celestia's niece was just a normal unicorn
I'm not sure, it seems like magic is something they learn over the course of their life to be proficient in so they have to at least be born with a horn (since they're supposedly powerful magic users). Also that's just perpetuating a circle of magic that doesn't make much sense if they earn wings and horn at being crowned, since where did that magic come from? They haven't shown Celestia's family situation at all anyway, so who knows what her parents are like
Well... The real reason is because they are gods. But if we want to just mess around with the idea, that's cool too.
Actually they haven't really directly said they're gods, and their magic is both said to be "unicorn magic" so it's just stronger then the others (but stemming from the same source) Other then that, being both unicorn and pegasus isn't that odd of a thing to be unnatural like that
Well... They created harmony, if anything, that means they're gods. Maybe not super-mega-all-knowing gods. But they are gods.
I don't think it said they created the elements of harmony, it said Celestia used them to lock Luna in the moon though
It's never noted if Celestia created the Elements of Harmony, or Harmony itself, and I must say she didn't. So I assume she didn't create Equestria. As for this, she was probably a unicorn as a filly. And I bet she was chosen by the gods to be the ruler, and those who represent the nature of the land must represent the harmony between the existent species, and thus them all - hence why Celestia and Luna are unipegs. Because they represent the harmony of the land by being opposites from age to nature.
I had an idea for someone named "Third Wing". It's interesting- a pegasoi that moves in the sky as though as he has a third wing assisting him, being able to fly even with both his wings injured. No, he's not a unicorn pegasus. He's just awesome, having his own version of the Sonic Rainboom (just... different).
Vinyl Scratch: Lightspeed Torped (or something like that) sounds better for his flying technique. I loved your idea, except that he could have an extra pair of wings instead of just one extra wing - it might cause misbalance. And I just got an idea for his char-design, and it sounds awesome. 0w0
Actually, he has only two wings- he's called Third Wing because when he flies, it seems as though as if he has three wings keeping his balance, in any method possible. Had the idea for him for a few weeks now. Also, let me tell you how his version of Sonic Rainboom works. He starts flying down just like Rainbow Dash, but starts spinning at several spins a second. He breaks the sound barrier significantly faster and starts to leave a blazing ring of fire behind him. If I could draw, then I'd sketch out how it looks.
Not really, but I guess his mother (a unicorn) had always wanted to see what it was like to fly, so she made herself a pair of wings. (like Twilight did for Rarity) While flying around, she caught the eye of one of the royal guards, and, well, they started dating. Since the wing magic only lasted three days, she kept on doing it every three days to be with him. He knew they weren't real wings, but he didn't care. From their love was born Steelion, whose wings are those of a pegasus and horn, unicorn. However, since his parents were different species, his magic is limited to only being able to control metal and his wings aren't as responsive as a full-blooded pegasus, so he was forced to become basically a blacksmith. How's that for off the top of my head? And, BTW it's pegacorn, not unipeg. If it were his father that was a unicorn, it would be a unisus. There is no unipeg.
By that description, it sounds more like Sonic Blaze, Fire Spiral, or something like that. As I expected, unipegs are born from MAGIC! 8D Loved this story. You explained how he's got wings AND a horn and didn't make him any oh-whoal-so-special-overpower character. Also, blame people on MLP Arena, they use the term "unipeg" for what you call pegacorn or unisus. I went there before, so unipeg sounds a little more familiar to me (and far easier for people to know it's a cross between the two). BTW, now you reminded me of something interesting: this chart here pretty much explains how genetics work in ponies. That'd be useful for many people making chars. xDDD
