Congrats, I wish I could think of something good, but I just don't even have time to think, what with the end of school and stuff. I mean, RPing is easy, especially since I know Silver really well, but brainstorming is another thing...
Me too, but I think I'm gonna wait 'till summer when I don't have tons of projects and exams weighing down on my conscience while I brainstorm, ya know? But when I do, maybe you'd want to help? I need somepony to show me the ropes, so to speak. I'd like to model it after you and Eight Star's types of RPs.
I second Legion's enquire! I'd love to learn some of your's and Eight Star's techniques. I love plotting, but RPing is just as fun for me. Oh, and I TOTALLY get where you're coming from about being swamped, we're in our last week of school and are being slammed with finals.
It doesn't have to be his system, neccisarily. I just meant I'd like to have stats and dice. I might even try to design my own little system, though I'm sure it will be far from flawless. But that's where you could help me; I don't know that much in general about this stuff. I mean, I design board games sometimes for fun, so I could do it, but I would love it if I had one or more ponies helping and advising me... Of course, I would still like to base it off of his system. From scratch would take a while, and why try to replace what already works?
Sure! Eight Star's been working on his for more than 10 years. Use a d100 for most rolls. It makes things very easy, in my opinion.
I <3 dice so much. I have a collection of several sets, and a d100 of my own that I'm rather proud of.
Eight Star got one of those giant bags of dice that he carries with him everywhere. They come in quite handy!
I have dice on my calculator, which I carry with me everywhere... and they can be any number of sides! It's so awesome... Okay, now you can laugh at me for being a nerd. xD
xD My calculator does lots of fun stuff. The only thing it doesn't do that I need it to is access Wifi and let me post on here. xD Though it does have a text feature. And I know how to program it. A little. While fooling around with it, I found out how to make it choose things randomly. So I can just intitalize the program, and it will automatically choose from as set list of names, for example. Or I could program it to let you insert the names, and then choose randomly. Of course, that's all pointless, since you could just have it choose a random number after having each person choose a number... Or I could program it to do other cool stuff. I feel like Trixie now, so .
