If only Silver had gone with Toxic and Follia, I bet he could have figured out what that shield was, his specialty being shields and all...
And being a unicorn, his Magic stat is actually positive. :derpe: Oh, and I forgot to Roll Perception for you, when you were looking for any of the ponies you saw before. Hang on. 19 + 8 = 27 You don't notice any of the ponies that you saw before, but it's hard to tell as many of the ponies look the same or very similar.
I just thought I'd mention this: The reason I rolled Luck was because I was running out of things for Virulento to say, so I arbitrarily rolled the dice to see if I could be inspired. You guys got a Natural 100.
We got XP back there. Now, I can't help but wonder what we do with it? Do we get levels in this game?
Yes. I explained levels a page or two ago. (Or was it in the Interest Check Thread? I can't remember.) Basically, for the first ten levels, you need 100XP. Every time you go up a level, your HP, MP, WP, and SP go up according to your class. Every day that passes in-game (it's almost evening, by the way), you get to make a Training Roll to train your stats. To increase a stat, you have to roll 100*the amount of the stat you want to increase. Training rolls stack. For example: Let's say you (Follia) want to train your Stealth, so you can be more sneaky. Your Stealth is currently at 2, so you would have to roll 200 to increase this stat by 1. If you wanted to train your Strength, you would have to roll 1000. That means that you would have to make a training roll every day for at least ten days. :| Eight Star...remind me how you train stats that are negative. It's like training a positive stat, but you can only train it to 0, right? Edit: I've added your character sheets to the first post in this thread. (I haven't added your XP yet)
It would make sense to train a negative stat like this: -Speed: -2 -train at 200 -increases to -1 But then what would you train a 0 stat at...? Perhaps 50?
No, it's 100 again. It used to be that once a stat hit zero you had to wait until you had another class boosting the stat into the positive before you could train it. Now you're allowed to train at least 4 points under any circumstance.
Ah. Thank you! Um...I'll actually make your training rolls for you in-game, just tell me what you wish to train when the time comes.
No, no... One training roll per day, unless there's an encounter or you have a trainer, then you get two. Every 5 levels, you get a multiplier to your training rolls, making it easier to increase stats. Negative Stats can be trained up to zero, (if they're more than -3, that's all you can do with them.) Positive Stats can be trained up to double their value, (if they're above 3, that is.) Anything from -3 to 3 can be trained up to an increase of four points. Sorry, I was busy, but I got to it now! :derpe:
Ah! Thank you! This encounter was made believeing that you all would be there. The best laid plans of mice and men... It's still possible for them to defeat her, so fear not!
Quill, do I have any spells besides my shield spell? If not then, heh, good luck Toxic Rain. I can maybe stop Buttercup for a while...
