(O.O i'm gonna watch out next time. Sowwy.) (Forget what i said earlier.) Hunt went down the tree. "Alright, i saw somethin' really strange out there. I tought i saw somepony with a cloak... Didn't seemed that friendly. Should we go and see this out?"
"I don't see why we shouldn't." Firebreeze said walking into the forest to try and see if he could get a better look at the pony Hunt saw.
"It was at your right, further in the woods." He looked over his shoulder. "Hey guys! We're finally moving! No time to stretch your legs, hurry up!"
Kicker glanced around at the other ponies for a while. What was the big deal? It's not like anypony would go into the Everfree while everypony in town knew that they were going in to find whatever it was that was causing all this trouble... Why couldn't they stick around and strategize? Not that he had any bright ideas, mind. "I'm with Firebreeze." Mother of Rainbows, I can't beleive I just said that, he thought, trying to keep his composure. "Let's get this hoodie!" He zoomed into the forest in an attempt to keep up with his idol.
Ore was in the complete back of the group he hasn't talked much he didn't really like to be in this place he couldn't maneuver his chains as freely as in the open terrain until the group deiced to follow a cloaked pony. Ore sighed he wouldn't follow those guys until the whole group goes after this mysterious pony he moved close to the group his chains were wrapped on his two front legs waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Observing the different styles of everypony in their group, he can tell that they were in for some squabbles. He notices that one of them hasn't even got a word in about the situation, and is about to bring that to the group's attention. Then the infighting started, and he was on the side of those wanting a plan of action rather than rushing in recklessly. Again, he was about to say something when two of their group suddenly dart into the Everfree. He shakes his head and mutters, "Great, now we have two problems. If we manage to find those two alive again, somepony is going to have to keep them check." He turns to the only one in their group who has remained silent. "Orda, what do you think of this situation? Should we charge in recklessly like those two, or come up with a plan?"
Fireheart gestured towards orda and the other pony. "come on, Ive already thought of a plan. Always got to think ahead"
Spoiler: Firebreeze Perception Perception: 3 Forest is Dark: -2 Rolled: 10 Result: Epic Fail lol As Firebreeze trotted into the forest, he tried to pierce the darkness and see the same figure that Fireheart had seen, but there was nothing but blackness. He could see no moving figures. Of course, that didn't mean that there weren't any there, right? Spoiler: Firebreeze+Kicker Luck Average Luck: 6 (I'll round up or down depending, for an even number of ponies I'll round up, kay?) No modifiers Rolled: 7 Suddenly, in a flash of movement, something shot out of the bushes headed straight at Firebreeze. Spoiler: Firebreeze Agility Agility: 8 Forest is dark: -1 Taken by surprise: -1 Rolled: 1 Result: Passed Firebreeze leapt out of its path, and it tumbled to the ground in a heap. Firebreeze landed back on his feet, ready for anything. Cloud Kicker is right behind him, and the shadowy figure landed between the two of them. You could attempt to examine the figure more closely, but that would give it time to attack, if it is hostile.
Hunt turned to Firebreeze, and took his rifle out. He looked through the lens, but firebreeze was in front of him. He could only risk a shot between his legs, but it could be dangerous, so he only kept his canon pointing the shadow in front of Firebreeze.
Firebreeze didn't want to rush to attacking the hooded pony when they didn't what it wanted, maybe it knew something they didn't. He tried to look closer at the being while saying, "Who are you?"
Illudo glanced to his right and spied one of the ponies aiming a gun at the figure. He seemed to have an irate, almost disappointed look on his face. He hardly knew anything about the figure, but it wasn't safe to assume that there was hostility to be held, hell, it could even be a villager. He took a few steps foward as the tension grew and chose to examine the stranger for clues, perhaps his appearance may yield important information.
Spoiler: Fireheart Perception Perception: 6 Forest is Dark: -2 Firebreeze in the way: -1 Rolled: 4 Result: Check failed, barely. Fireheart tries to peer around Firebreeze, but can't make out much more than a fluttering cloak. Spoiler: Firebreeze Perception Perception: 3 Forest is dark: -2 Up-close examination: +1 Rolled: 2 Result: Pass, barely. Firebreeze squints through the darkness at the figure. It seems to be wearing a cloak, and he can see hooves sticking out from it. A blue-ish snout (it's hard to tell exactly what color in the dark) is poking out from the cloak as well. Spoiler: Illudo Perception Perception: 9 Forest is dark: -2 Rolled: 3 Result: Massive overkill pass The first thing Illudo notices, after the obvious cloak and equine shape, is the blood around the edges of the cloak that would have been closest to the ground. He also notices, through a good-sized tear in the cloak, that the body is a solid perriwinkle blue. Otherwise, the cloak covers his head and body completely. He cannot see the figure's facial features, except for the snout. The snout is grimacing. Spoiler: Cloud Kicker Perception, since you didn't say to attack Perception: 6 Forest is dark: -2 Up-close examination: +1 Rolled: 9 Result: Failed Cloud Kicker was so busy trying to follow Firebolt through the dense brush that he only just now noticed the presence of this shadowy figure. The figure gets up quickly and immediately begins to back away from the group (he is now facing them) towards the cover of the plants he had just leapt out of. From the grunting noise he made when he got up, Illudo and Firebreeze (and nopony else) can tell he is a male. The situation: Firebreeze and Fireheart are nearest to the cloaked figure. The other ponies are either behind firebreeze, to the side in the underbrush observing the figure, or still at the entrance to the forest, about 35 meters away. Ponies still outside the forest: Winter Warmth, Grey Mane, Lucky and Ore.
"let's just continue, shall we" fireheart decided to give one of the mysterious potions to winter keeping the other three.
Illudo steps towards the pony with a gun and pushes the gun towards the ground. "Put that stupid gun down for a moment, you dolt. He's hurt." He took a few steps foward toward the cloaked Equine and raised his voice. "Wait! We were sent from Ponyville to aid in rescuing missing villagers, or something. Now tell me, do you fit that description? It may not look like it with some of these lumoxes pointing a firearm at everything they look at with reckless abandon..." he said as he shot a nasty glare at Hunt upon saying so. "But we are here to help."
(Hm, oh well.) Winter watched as Illudo pushed away gun from strange pony and decided he would do light up the area to get a better look at the pony, his horn caught fire, illuminating the area, and strangely, around the tips of the flame's fingers, ice capped it off. (Um, with using his magic as a torch, does that really need a dice roll?)
(you also didn't seem to understand that I pushed someone else's gun out of the way, Illudo uses knives.)
