(( Sorry 'bout being late I just got a new game and I have been dying to play it )) Ore looked at the rest of the ponies most of them were gone but he just couldn't keep his eyes off this one pony she looked like she was ready to explode. Ore looked at the rest of the ponies they looked like they were ready to puke Ore looked back at the pony and walked over to her his chains scraping on the floor creating a suspenseful tone in the room Ore was now about 4 feet away from her. "I got a question for you," Ore said, " Would you kill anyone I would tell you to even if it was best friend?".
Fireheart arrived at the edge of the forest at 6pm so she had an hour to find other search was long as she had found many shacks but none were the ones to meet at around 6:59pm she finally found the correct one with 3 seconds till 7pm she opened the door to see the pony again. Just like she was instructed.
"But of course." Candy replied softly. "There must be reason behind the order, or it would never have been given. They obviously did something wrong, or are not who they say they are. If the order was given by one of my masters, they must have their reasons." Candy thought to herself a moment. "...Don't see why anything would ever have to come to that though...would certainly be a sad day..."
(Sorry for that late reply, too much studies.) Masquerade was lying against a wall near the front door of the room, looking for an apprentice. He had spotted a few ponies, but they all didn't have the qualities he was looking for. He was about to give up, when he saw a shy pony walking around: he talked to nopony, and looked almost disoriented. He stood up, shook his head to replace his mane, and went to him. "Hey, filly. Looking for a teacher? I saw you there. You don't belong to farming. I can't promise you money, but i sure have a lot to teach you. Name's Masquerade, Masquerade Butcher."
Ore looked at the pony who gave him the answer and a big grin opened his face "Great!" he laughed, "Your my apprentice now!" the chain around his legs started to fly as he moved his legs and it wrapped around a drink he yanked the chain back and then the drink went right into his hooves. He didn't really feel like drinking but wanted to show off his chains because it seemed like she didn't know what it was used for.
Candy was taken aback by the sudden display, and the fact that she was now officially going to become an apprentice. She tried to hold back her happiness, but failed miserably. An ear to ear grin slowly revealed itself on Candy's face. She had finally done it! No farm work for her! If she had parents, she was sure they would be proud right now. Suddenly, and without any sort of warning, the master shot out one of his chains and obtained a glass from a nearby table. The skill he used was amazing. She shuddered to think of what would happen if he wanted those things around your throat. "So, master," Candy said, "if you didn't know, my name is Candy Haze. Forgive me, but I am not aware of your name. Might you tell me?"
Ore took a big gulp of his drink and the filly he had made his apprentice said her name was Candy Haze and she asked for his name "Well if you must know my name is Orda "Ore" Nurzak," Ore said, "But you can call me Ore,". He looked at the other fillies and shooed them away until it was only them "so! you are now my apprentice but first I need to know what your skill is," Ore said, "Show me what you got,".
Candy straightened herself. Her abilities? What could she do that would impress him? "Of course, Master Ore." She said. Her mind perked up and she did really the only thing she had been focused on for the last ten minutes. Raising her hoof, she flipped out her crossbow and fired a bolt into the nearby wall. It stuck in between the eyes of one of the paintings. 'Holy crap!' Candy thought. She had only been aiming for the painting itself, she wasn't skilled enough to pinpoint shots of that accuracy. She sat and waited patiently for Ore's reaction.
Winter turned to Fireheart, "Well, look who came in late. Lesson 1: Always be there before your enemy, if you get there a minute or even five minutes before they do, you are late." Winter got up and started pacing the room, "If you are going to be my apprentice, you have to understand that you will do whatever you are told, and you will never give up, if you can do those two things, your road to being a full-fledged Umbra is started."
"I arrived at this place, on time. You said 7pm and Iarrived at seven pm" Fireheart annoyed at her new master stole her masters dagger and pointed it at winter.
Winter smiled, "You really think you can threaten an Umbra just like that? Maybe it's time for lesson 2." in a flash, Winter slammed into Fireheart, sending her slamming into a wall and the dagger flying. Before Fireheart could recover, Winter had grabbed his bow and had sent an arrow thudding into the wall next to Fireheart and already had another loaded, "If you don't listen to what I teach you, I will leave you to be a farmer, if you so wish."
Winter put away his bow and picked up his dagger, "We will start by seeing how good your endurance is. This hut is in desperate need of water and the well is in the village. The only place you can get it is in a spring about a mile up the trail into the forest. I will give you 17 minutes, about seven minutes there, two minutes to fill the buckets, and seven. Remember, this is a test, not a menial task."
Fireheart not willing to become a farmer burst out the door teleporting in small chunks shorting the trip there to five minutes. Fire then procceed to fill the buckets that took 1 minute 55 seconds. She finally sprinted her way back using two flat pieces of wood to cover the buckets and to act as a lid. She then arrived back at the hut with 1 minute too spare. "I'm back here's your water" her voice was slow but not exhausted.
Winter gave a questioning look, "Your early for once! Maybe you can start making that a habit. Now, put the buckets in the kitchen and I will start a fire, an important part to learn about being an Umbra is being self-sufficient."
