This sums it up well. In a well balanced game, it usually boils down a player's style. I like mobility, for example, and enjoy playing Taokaka in BlazBlue.
Tiers are useless. I beat Daigo with Dan, and he's commonly known as the BEST RYU PLAYER IN THE WORLD. Ryu is commonly placed in A tier while Dan is plopped in D or F tier. Tiers mean nothing to me. They should mean nothing to you guys, too. (Also, the creator of Smash Bros. has already stated his dislike of making SSBB and SSBM a tournament game with Tiers.)
Yeah, pretty sure that's the way to look at it. I remember playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and losing to someone who played Roll. Of course, it could've been my abysmal skills at any game ever, but practice means perfect, I suppose.

This is your post. There are many like it, but this one is yours. It contains corrections, you say? Nope, It contains the word no. Repeatedly. But that's not all! It has you AGREEING! Thus also not correcting anything. The only statement that contributed anything was in fact: Which, considering that was an answer, was still not correcting. Oh, and there was the random insult. Also at MUGEN. Insults correct nothing. Thus, your post is goggles: it does nothing.
A) I said no repeatedly because they were all wrong. Simple as that. B) CeresBane obviously didn't know anything. Fluttershy a cheap joke character. Because the stare bit on the last stream wasn't an obvious joke. :/ C) MUGEN is dumb and broke as hell. Case in point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eumKTYltoeI D) I liked mike406 because out of like, 90% of people I see, he actually read the FAQ. E) LyonKS555's post was just good. Simple.
This is not correcting. These are opinions of their opinions. Correcting is defined as "to set or make true, accurate, or right." This implies both that the statement corrected is a statement of fact, and is wrong. Opinions are not facts, and thus, are incapable of being wrong. Speculations, while capable of being wrong, are not facts, and thus can not be corrected. The first and second statement you responded to was a speculation. The third an opinion. Even if they WERE facts, that would be irrelevant, because correcting also implies that you were to show what is right. This is yet to be done. In conclusion, the problem here is that you posted your opinions towards the opinions of others towards a game which is yet to be released, thus putting yourself in a third degree of relevance, which is given the name relevance only because it demonstrates an acute lack of such.
