I just wanted to know if any of you guys know if any of your Brony friends are artistic in the community like making music for example. I just ask because my friend does and I thought it would be interesting to see what cool things your friends do or heck even if it made them money or even made them popular!

I like to think myself a decent artist, and some of my friends do quite a bit of art too.
As for music, I'm just about to start down that road to see where that leaves me.

heh I got nothing! I can do well. I have basic skills in so many things but not a single thing I can do well.

I am ashamed I would do anything to contribute to this community

    I tried music, I failed.

Pick up drawing, don't have much to show for it.

    ^ This guy right here.

I do a bit of art, nothing too major yet. I'm hoping to finally get it onto the interwebs after a loaaaaad of preparation and effort. Apart from that, I'm sure there are several users on the forum who are worthy of their skills, Yami, Echoax, and Coconeru to name a few.

I like to think I'm decent at drawing, but I drag myself down over it a lot, plus, it takes me a year to complete anything. :/

I reckon I'm a half decent artist, though I'm yet to really delve into any pony art, I've only done one pony drawing to date. Once life settles down a bit though I can guarantee you'll be seeing some pieces from me

Honestly, I think a better question would be how many of us aren't artists. That seems to be the minority here.

and I'm a proud member of that minority. I'd try drawing if I had the time and patience.

I'm not bad at drawing, though I'm not particularly that good either. I'm more on the music side of things. I sing well (wait a minute, Yami can't have an ego!) but have no compositional knowledge or experience, so I just do vocal covers.

I've made a couple music pieces, nothing special.
I've started following Yami, and doing vocal covers, but of my type of music.
I really love art of the visual form, but it is a talent I do not possess. In saying that I do enjoy doing Special Effects art with Adobe After effects.

    But I'm a Software Engineer

I'm a minority I guess. I'm just horrible at drawing ponies.

People see my drawings and they're all

Can't be worse than mine. Mine looks like they are drawn by a 5 year old:sigh:.

I suck at drawing. I've never actually tried giving proper drawing a go. I know that drawing takes practice and that's something I never do. I also want to eventually start making music. But I don't think I'll start any time soon. I keep getting distracted.

I've dabbled in music off and on, but never more than a little bit at a time. The overwhelming amount of technical knowledge involved is what really prevents me from doing more. I envy those that make full, decent tracks in just an hour. Writing comes more naturally to me.

On a side note, I don't draw either, but while writing up a staggered list for my uncle's inventory, I doodled my cutie mark pic, but forgot the details and made it look weird and reversed. Furthering this, I drew it in the center of a crescent moon resting in a small lake. This description makes it sound cooler than it really is, though.
