After many debates, headaches and hair pulling sessions. Here it is. The reworked navbar. It works on a tab-> submenu system Clicking Radio will take you to the radio and display a list of radio related links in the submenu. Clicking Forum will take you to the forums and display a list of useful forum links in the submenu. Unlike the other navbars it also keeps track of your current location, highlighting the section of the site you're currently browsing. Let me know what you think - Is it an improvement? Can it be improved further? Is anything missing or broken? Hope you dig, - Grey P.S. It comes with a series of new pages such as 'The Floxy Show - Broadcast' hub page, the new Community/Network portal and 'Radio-News' (need I say more about that one?).
It's under network -> Chat I thought it was perhaps a bit much giving it an entire tab of its own...?
Yeah, I just saw it 3 seconds after posting. :derpe: It's fine there as it doesn't have any sub-categories of its own.
I love the new navbar. It's simple to use yet it doesn't have as many repeated links as the old one. Good job Grey (and anyone else who helped)!
Eeyup..!! Much Love to my Beta (soon to be alpha) testing team: Mike406, Lightning_Mustang, Saikyo and Testyal1 I wouldn't have ever been happy with it, if it weren't for you guys (I'm just that indecisive! ) <3
Admittably, it seems to be a little clunky, but it may just be the broser I'm on. Actually clicking on account and needing that to load before I get to subscriptions. The old one, as I recall just had the quick links, which I could then follow to subscriptions. Which is really the only part of the nav bar I use. :derpe: Looks better, at least.
If you go to Account -> Manage subscriptions, you can find them there. I'm not sure what that's like compared to the old way though.
That's... what I just said I do. Click on Account, then Manage Submissions. It's not working like a hover menu or anything... so I gotta load through again. Which is the same as while the nav bar was gone. I'd click Settings, then just click Subscriptions. For me, nothing's changed since it disappeared.
Sorry, I didn't read your post properly. That's my fault. I assume a hover menu would take a bit more time to prepare, so this is just to provide the links that we've all been missing.
You know, you guys actually gave me a very, very good idea. *Goes to Code* EDIT: Might be a little harder than I anticipated, but it's a good idea, so I will work on it. Yes I am deliberately not giving details... mauhha!
I hope your hair grows back soon. :3 Yep, looks very nice. Kudos to everyone who worked and tested on it.
