The following is my best attempt at a signup/character sheet based on Roleplaying is Magic. I tried to explain everything I could without quoting from the manual verbatim. If there are any questions, you may check the manual yourself here or ask me. Name: (What are you called?) The point is, they are not fully mature, like Celestia or Luna.) Guiding Element: (Which Element of Harmony do you best represent? Only choose one of the main six elements, please.) Cutie Mark/Talent: (Blank flanks are allowed, but not recommended.) Job: (What do you do for a living? Foals don’t have jobs.) Additional Personal Info: (This is optional, but nice.) Attributes: (All Primary Attributes start at 1) Mind: (Inherent intellectual ability: smartness, guile, memory, etc.) Body: (Physical capabilities: strength, speed, agility, toughness, etc.) Heart: (Emotional capabilities: empathy, charisma, willpower, etc.) All Ponies get +1 Point to spend on the Primary Attribute of their choice. No stat can be over 5. Health: (Body+Heart) Energy: (Body+Mind) Courage: (Mind+Heart) Talents: (You get two talents during character creation. They give a +2 bonus to certain rolls) There are ten talents: Strong, Tough, Fast, Agile, Perceptive, Smart, Charismatic, Empathetic, Willful, and Tireless. Skills: (Skills can be pretty much anything relating to your job. They shouldn’t be too broad. For instance, instead of Science, use Chemistry or Geology. A skill can also be a particular spell, of you’re a Unicorn. The number of Skills you start with is your Age Category * Your Mind stat. 1 for Foals, 2 for Fillies/Colts, and 3 for Mares/Stallions) Spells: (Unicorns get spells. The can choose any combination of the following Effects and Subjects. 1 combination for Mind 3 and 2 for Mind 5) Effects Animate – levitation, teleportation, animation Change – polymorphing, shapechanging Create – creation from nothing Diminish – destruction, deterioration, make something worse Know – location, identification, divination Subjects Air – includes weather effects like lightning Animal – lower animals, like pets and forest creatures Body – ponies Earth – any non-living solid Fire – fire, light, heat Force – effects of solid energy, like Nightmare Moon’s mane Illusion – false magical images, sounds, and other senses Magic – pure magic, spells effecting spells Mind – intelligence, perception, thoughts, and control Plants – plants and fungi. Also products like cotton, wood, flour, etc. Water – water and ice Create Magic is like a multi-tool. It can enhance, amplify, and/or improve other magic. Can also be used to create fey fire. This is because I chose a specific aspect of my spell, "Animate Earth" as my skill (the specific aspect of my spell being the ability to levitate objects). I get a bonus to my Mind roll whenever I try to use Animate Earth to levitate something. Quill, being a unicorn, can learn other spells, but the only spell he "knows" is Animate Earth.
Name: Lightning Chaser Age: Colt Race: Pegasus Guiding Element: Kindness Cutie Mark/Talent: An elegant lightning bolt in an ornate pattern/Excels at complicated aerial maneuvers Job: Part of Weather Patrol Additional Personal Info: Lightning has a royal blue coat color. His mane and tail both resemble the aurora borealis. He may not be as shy as one would expect from an Element of Kindness, but that doesn’t mean he is incredibly outgoing either. Growing up, he has never been particularly interested in speed like many of the other unicorns. He much prefers the elegant and graceful aerial maneuvers that a Pegasus can achieve, and has strived to master this. For part of his life, this has led to some ridicule that he has had to live with. Due to his determination at accomplishing this goal, he managed to get his cutie mark after pulling off a rather challenging move he had been working on. He continues to attempt to make strides, and has finally gained some respect from his peers. As a result, he has been a part of the Weather Patrol. Lightning’s talent for acrobatic, graceful maneuvers has helped the Patrol out in some tough situations, also adding to his respect. He doesn’t let the small bit of fame go to his head, and just considers himself helping out his pony friends. Name: Entropy Age: Colt Race: Unicorn Guiding Element: Magic Cutie Mark/Talent: A negative-colored version of Twilight's cutie mark/Antimagic Job: Guard Mind/Body/Heart: 3/2/1 Health/Energy/Courage: 4/3/5 Talents: Smart, Willful Skills: Forethought Spear-Fighting Linguistics Battle tactics Ancient history Anatomy Spells: Diminish Magic Personal Info: Entropy is a strange unicorn. His oddity is not diminished by the fact that his talent is destroying the specialty of his race, the irony of which certainly has not escaped him. Often magic performed around him is weaker than it should be, or goes wrong in some fashion. As a result, many unicorns (especially those with powerful magic) shun him. Fortunately, his talent lends itself well to guarding, especially against rogue unicorns and alicorns. He isn't that bad of a fighter either, and he enjoys the strategic standpoint of battle, so he is well-suited for his job. UNfortunately, his innate magic-dampering abilities also stop his own magic. As a result, the only spells he can cast are ones that destroy magic. He cannot levitate, teleport, or any of the other things that many unicorns can do. This is yet another reason he is shunned by many of his own race.
Name: Pink Fizz Age: Filly Race: Unicorn Guiding Element: Laughter Cutie Mark/Talent: An orange oval with three connected dots inside of it. Pink Fizz is talented in magic... specifically the magic of teleportation. While he actual scope of magic is more broad for what she can do, she can teleport just about anything. She can specifically teleport ponies a fairly long distance, but anything other than that has a considderably shorter range, and usually only one at a time. Job: Freeloader Additional Personal Info: Years back, Fizz was known as Fizzle, just a young foal who failed a lot of classes at the school for magically inclined unicorns. While she had a very special gift on her hands, she couldn't control it enough to stay in school. Ever since being kicked out she trained on her own, enhancing her control and abilities with her special talent; teleportation. She's a real freeloader, and a class clown. The kind whose antics get her many a stink eye. However, she'll find bits now and then through freelance magic usage by making things easier for people through... teleportation. Over her training she's also learned to use her control over pony bodies to beef ponies up, or make somepony stronger, or make somepony's ears flap involuntarily, which she finds hilarious. Dispite all of her control over the body, she is a fairly frail filly with a mane so frizzy and poofy, that without any kind of attention, it will be in front of her eyes, and look like a very tacky afro. For that matter, she doesn't pay it any attention. While she may be white with a pink mane, it's hard to tell that she has golden eyes by looking at them, unless she is polite enough to lift up her mane. Lifting her mane is usually coupled with squinting, signifying that she's trying to concentrate... not for a lack of intelligence, but because she wasn't paying enough attention to the subject before, and has to cram all of the previous information together to come up with an idea of the current events. Some ponies think she needs glasses, but she doesn't pay them any mind. If any off his friends are in trouble or just want to chat, he will be there. Attributes: (All Primary Attributes start at 1) Mind: 2 Body: 2 Heart: 2 Health: 4 Energy: 3 Courage:3 Talents: Fast, Agile Skills: Cloud Control, Fast flight, Strong winds, Carry others. Job: guard Additional Personal Info: fireheart is a kind and considerate pony who works well and fights well when she is in peace. Her father worked as a guard and her mother was a competitive flyer for the thunderclouds (similar to the wonder bolts) Attributes: Mind: 2 Body: 1 Heart: 2d Health: 3 Energy: 3 Courage: 4 Talents: Agile,smart Skills: fire control, evasion Spells: Create fire Subjects Fire – fire, light, heat, (is this right?)
Foals don't have jobs. We'll say she's training to be a guard. I forgot to mention this, but the manual states that Foal Unicorns can't use magic "until the age that they get their Cutie Mark." Since Fireheart has her Cutie Mark, this is a moot point. In other words, you can have a spell. And you don't have to have a Subject. "Create Fire" covers the Aspect and the Subject. It's good, otherwise.

No problem. I'll note it when I post the character sheets tomorrow. Oh, I notice that there are two ponies who represent the Element of Kindness (you know who you are). I'd prefer it if we only have one of each. You may sort it out yourselves if you want, or I can decide. No biggie.
