Hello everypony, it's that time of the week again, so let's get started! I'm very happy to say we have a bunch of staff changes, so be prepared to clap your hooves together! In the radio, we have three new chat moderators! Give a very warm welcome to the return of Harley and two new chat moderators TomTortoise and Blazing Dawn! Be sure to congratulate them either here or on the radio when you see them! Also, we have some new staff on the forums. Be prepared to congratulate Yetione for their position on the community patrol and Saikyo for his new position as forum moderator! It's well deserved! And while congratulations are being given, a special congratulations for Flash for being the first Staff Gold Star winner! His outstanding work for the radio and his DOUBLE 24 hour shift achievement has made him a clearly deserving first winner! Next up, the staff have been discussing an idea and we think it deserves to go on trial. The idea is that there's a special subforum area where users can go to post a personal problem and have either the community patrol able to post a response to help them out. Something to keep in mind is that his is just an idea right now, but some of the staff feel it deserves some merit. What do you think? A few notes to point out: -It's possible to make it so only you and the staff can see your thread (meaning no one else but the staff can post in it) -It's possible to put users into a usergroup (on request) so they can see the threads and those not in the usergroup cannot -It's possible to give this area its own moderators to sort things out if the site staff are unavailable Just a few points to keep in mind while you think about the idea. Congrats to the new staff! And I like the subforum idea with keeping issues private with staff. I think that is a good way to voice sensitive opinions without the fear of ridicule.

Congratulations to Harley for being reinstated as a radio chat mod, and to TomTortoise and Blazing Dawn for also getting radio chat mod positions. Congratulations as well to Yeti for the community patrol position, and Saikyo for becoming a forum moderator. It seems congratulations are also in order for Flash receiving the first Staff Gold Star. Well deserved, you crazy pony. I don't think I could pull two 24+ hour shifts. I am all for the new subforum idea. Not only does it resolve the issue some have had with threads like that being in the General Discussion section of the forums, but it guarantees a positive response to those threads. The ideas on how to handle privacy both seem sound to me. More congratulations to UK of Equestria for hitting the 1,000 member mark. May you continue to grow. Have some tea and crumpets to celebrate. Very sorry to hear about Circuitfry. Nopony should have to experience what he's going through, and I'm astonished his family would do such a thing. I hope everything ends up working out for him.
Congrats to Harley and Tom... Any somepony else who I can't remember. Then again, Livestream wants to make sure that we have no chat powers, yet... Sucks that there are some extremely conservative parents out there in the world. Almost like how my friend can't even go to Bronycon on a bus and needs to be driven... Hope that Circuitfry can find a way through this hate...
Suddenly new staff. I am ok with this. Suddenly a new forum. I am ok with this even more. Suddenly the new subforum may need moderators where basically the job is to figure out how a person thinks so you can help them help themselves, or just help them. Me gusta. inb4 this thing is actually relevant. In that case screw not joining the staff so I can stay a trollrus.

I was told to come and check this community post out. Thanks for the support - I really am happy to see there are more UK Bronies that we ever thought there were. ...and on the other topic, sad news about Circuitfry. I personally don't really know him, but it re-ignites my seething hatred against the homophobic stereotype that inhabits many of the Southern States. I really do hope the best for him.

A gigantic congrats to the new mods. It's LONG overdue that Yeti becomes a staff member and Harley is back on staff too! As for you Saikyo, well, it's time for you to dominate as forum mod, eh? :3 That subforum sounds brilliant and Circuitfry has all my support. Unfortunately, I know just how he feels.
