One of my hobbies is calendars, in particular, time keeping and dates. To that end, I've made a couple of calendars based off events in the RW, such as a space calendar, where I change the names of the months and co-ordinate a new "New Year's Day." Anyways, along those lines, I made a MLP:FiM calendar, with the months named after the Mane Six, plus seven others, giving each month 28 days. New Year's Day is a holiday with no particular date. I started the calendar on 10 October, when the show first premiered. Here's what I made: New Year’s Day – 10 October Apple Bloom 1 – 28 (11 October – 7 November) Applejack 1 – 28 (8 November – 5 December) Big Macintosh 1 – 28 (6 December – 2 January) Bon-Bon 1 – 28 (3 – 30 January) Derpy 1 – 28 (31 January – 27 February) Fluttershy 1 – 28 (28 February – 27 Mar Lyra 1 – 28 (28 March – 24 April) Pinkie Pie 1 – 28 (25 April – 22 May) Rainbow Dash 1 – 28 (23 May – 19 June) Rarity 1 – 28 (20 June – 17 July) Scootaloo 1 – 28 (18 July – 14 August) Sweetie Belle 1 – 28 (15 August – 11 September) Twilight Sparkle 1 – 28 (12 September – 9 October) My birthday falls on the 23rd of Applejack. I'm sure you can see I just listed the name alphabetically. Any who, not for everybody, but I thought it might be interesting to some. Oh, and the first year is 1001, of course. That is, 2010 is the start of 1001, which means I was born in 955.
August... Sweetie Belle... August... Sweetie Belle... Yeah I think I prefer my birthday in August. Plus the idea of a 28 day month would be confusing to me. Although it's a fantastic idea I don't think I'd be able to follow it. ^^
It sounds kind of awkward at first, but with 28 day months, each day will always be the same day of the week, month in and month out. Guess Leap Year will be another of those "out of the calendar" days. And, any ways, it's just a silly filly idea - I don't expect anyone to actually follow it. Not even me.
You say that, it's actually not a silly idea. I really like the idea because it's the beginning of forming a brand new language. Nobody would have a clue what we were talking about it would be exclusive. It's just complicated to understand. XD Great work though. Loving the idea of a new calendar ^^

Heh heh, it's fine I just have the worst luck. Ummm, well Fluttershy always seemed like a Spring type, Rainbow would make a good Summer and Applejack fits Autumn.... I don't know about the rest though...
Hmm... So, I was born in Scootaloo (August 6th). Ehh, could be worse. As for ponies = seasons thing, this is just my opinion, but for me it might go something like... Spring: Fluttershy, Apple Bloom Summer: Rainbow dash, Pinkie Pie Autumn/fall: Apple Jack, Rarity, Scootaloo Winter: Twilight Sparkle, Sweetie bell
