    Well, I shall go check now. Unless you are checking, then we are both checking...

    Yes, uh, Quill, Earth Ponies lose one less courage than everypony else in a frightening situation.

    They can also spend their own courage to help somepony else, and when they do spend their own courage (on anypony) and that test succeeds, then they immediately get that courage back, plus another courage.
