I just wish I could actually have a good dream with LOTS of ponies in it. The only dream I've had with an actual pony is one where my choir teacher turned into Rarity. 0.0 Other than that, the only time my dreams involve ponies is when someone mentions them in my dream; I don't actually see them.
If you've dreamt of mine... Pleasant dreams? Anyway, when I first started watching the show, it took me a while before I dreamt to ponies. The first pony dream I had was about Derpy. I can't remember much about it. I never dream of the Mane 6.
Yeah, stuff like that happens to me too. I'll hear a pony name or something like that, but never see them. It's like our brains are the ultimate trolls. :derpe:
I had a dream where Trixie was mad at me for taking to long in the bathroom at this screwed up playground. Hey dont blame me Trixie! Not my fault it was over crowded and they made it impossible to get in and out in under 5 minutes.
I'm jealous of all your dreams! I haven't had a single pony dream, ever. I've almost been a brony for a full year, and yet Nothing! I wish I could dream of ponies... It'd be so... Beautiful. Hopefully.
Odd question: how DO you dream? Its just your brain solving problems so if you watch QI or something intelectual before bed, you'd dream, right? And nightmares is your body telling you that youve forgotten something. What's dreaming like then? Happy? Sad? Long? Short?
I feel sorry for you. For me its short. And it depends on the dream situation.Usually happy or disturbing. Some can be long but those usually turn into other dreams. A hallucination is like a dream when you're awake. And its random. You never know when your gonna have a dream.
Haha, that'd be so embarrassing. I'm prone to talking in my sleep and if my mother overhears she will tell me the next morning that I had been. I wonder how she'd react if I started talking in my sleep about ponies. x3
Dreaming has an evolutionary function related to our ability to process and react to evolutionary stimuli (at least, this is what studies on depriving mice of REM sleep would seem to suggest) as well as helping us to retain and properly code certain sorts of information in long-term memory (the folk-wisdom of 'sleeping on it' has some legitimacy), but I wouldn't put too much significance into specific dream content (unless, of course, you really are dreaming about something important, which is sometimes the case). Nightmares are more likely to reflect deeply-ingrained fears and concerns. My nightmares usually involved arriving late to one of my classes, only to discover that I had actually missed half a semester of high school/college.
Hay, that's cool. So what you have nightmares about is what you fear the most? That's interesting. Most of my nightmares involve...er...creepy, inhuman things in my basement. I have no idea what that says about me...
THe basement of a house is the first thing built. It could reflect to the cor funamentals of who you are.
Lol, the funny thing is that I hardly play any horror games or watch any horror movies. Apparently my brain has the capacity to come up with extremely disturbing things all on its own. >.> Or my basement is haunted and I'm not just paranoid about it. Because the only place I'm scared (like, seriously scared) to be alone in the dark is my basement. If I'm anywhere else, I don't mind at all. But of course, I'd prefer the logical, psycological explaination.
Oh gosh! I just remembered a dream that I had recently. It had to do with the fic that I'm working on with marston: So, I was The Great and Powerful Trixie, and I was being chased by zombies. At some point, they got me and started dragging me back toward them. When I thought my end had finally come, the Mane 6 came and saved me! What follows is what I remember "thinking" as they pulled my body onto a cart and tried to pull me from town. The speaking part is Twilight Sparkle. "Trixie? What were you doing here?" Oh, hello, Twilight Sparkle. I see they haven't got you yet. "Are you okay? Trixie!" I'm fine. You don't have to shout. "She's still breathing. That's good." Of course I am. I said I'm fine. "Let's get you out of here." You know...you're not so bad. We could've been friends... "Trixie! Wake up! Are you okay?" I said, I'm fine. You don't have to yell! I'm right here! "Trixie!" I'm...I'm so hungry. Stop yelling. "Wait! We can save her!" I'm sorry Twilight... *BANG* With that, the dream ended.
Left for Dead 2: Equestria.Must..make..mod... I hallucinate things like that.Fire always works. What do they look like?
Like I said once before, I once had a dream that Screwattack did another Death Battle video with RD in is, this time with her fighting the Duck Hunt dog instead of Starscream. Sadly, it ended before the actual "Fight" started. I also had a dream where more chapters of my zombie fanfic actually updated {The fic the both me and Quill are working on}. That's one dream that I wish would come true {No offense intended Quill, if your reading this}.
Dood, wat? Did she get shot? Even if she did get shot, I wanna have that dream... Twilight balances out all the Zombies, so it would actually be a moderately good dream. ^^ Always different, but I rarely remember. Two off the top of my head are The Devil, and a creepy giant baby with a really long, sticky tongue and red eyes.
