Oh I totally agree. They did it right with Crystal, Gold, and Silver versions. Maybe there's a rom hack somewhere...
Personally, I'd like to see a game where you can actually catch them all. I quite liked yellow because you could get all the starters. I also liked Gold/Silver/Crystal because you cold revisit the Kanto region. Then Ruby/Sapphire had a huge graphics improvement (and the trick house which was awesome). If they took all the best things from each game and put them into one, they'd make the perfect Pokemon game. However, it'd be pretty tough to follow a game like that, so if Nintendo was to make it, it'd probably be the last pokemon game.
I'd really like a wii U pokemon game. Like a remake of red and blue, but full 3d. Kinda like Gale of Darkness, just better.
I love Sapphire and Ruby. The third gen was so beautiful, and that generation of pokemon was the coolest. The later ones were just lame. For example, that ice cream pokemon from generation 5... I refuse to train ice cream.
That would be awesome. A pokemon game where you can explore the environment from a first person perspective. Kind of like the Gamecube games, but with normal pokemon.
But crushing a team of ubers with ice cream is funny. I was thinking third person. anybody seen this yet.
Sorry, that's what I meant. Although maybe the Wii U's second screen could be utilised to give first person view in some cases. Also, I've heard of that game before. It seems quite interesting, although I've never been a huge fan of the spin-offs.
I just downloaded and started playing sniper elite v2. When I started it up and saw the graphics, bullet cam, x-ray cam, and sound effects I was like
It was kinda of fun, I never beat it. I thought it was like a silver and gold. I was wrong. SO SO WRONG.
I played one Mystery Dungeon Game and got to the last boss. But since it was literally impossible, I gave up, which is quite rare. I only play a few games, which I'll be sure to finish completely. But when you hardly inflict any damage on the boss and it can kill you in one hit, you have to just give up. EDIT: Screw it, I'm making a Pokemon thread. Let's see how that turns out.
It was the one with Dialga at the end. It was literally impossible, even if I did have the strongest move available that was super effective against it. Not to mention the fact that you had to climb a 30 storey dungeon just to get to the top. By the time you get there, You'd be extremely weak. If you were lucky enough to get to the top in good condition, Dialga would use Roar of Time and kill you. It's one of the only games I've started and not completed. I didn't like the look of it too much either. Even after playing it a bit, I never really enjoyed it too much. Also, I've made a new dedicated pokemon thread. Let's see if it actually gets used.
