The Kitara was capable of playing songs that stir the World and elements around whoever plucked the strings. The air would swirl and dance, spin on a fine point before using it's power to carry you on it's currents some place else. Some place where you may then use the currents that answer to your beck and call with a breathless 'yes' to either gently ease into a quiet rest or crash into a vortex of tantrum and screaming. The Huilu is said to be able to stir loyalty in the hearts of men and beasts alike. Just like it's sister, it too can calm and enrage but not on this plane but on the bitter moat of the soul. Tides of anguish or joy can be made to either lap against the shores or raise up and draw back. It can instil tsunami's of anger to not only flatten but to overwhelm and flood. The Viulu was able to grant strength from nothing. Life in excess pours into the veins and bloats your heart into convulsing power. The body swells back together and fuses into well being before inflating beyond it's former self. They become more than they were before, burning through this extra life force before wilting from the exertion if the spikes of music did not pulse new life back into the recipient. These amazing devices of both melody and magic have been lost for centuries. As with many such objects, their origin has been lost a long, long time ago so their stories have been told and retold in different ways. One talks about a King that adored music so much that he called for such instruments to be made, and that his enemies should know only his cacophonous rage is they were to face him. Bards playing these instruments were to lead the charge in battles. One story talks of celestial bodies dropping the tools for creating worlds after quarrelling. The instruments are then separated by the rhythms of the sea. Whether true or not, they allowed fillies to drop off into the calando of dreams. However, the Kitara, if you choose to believe in such old objects has been seen on occasion through out the worlds. It has been carried by a lone nomad of equally unknown origin or even name. He vanished in a city wide fire when a Unicorn confronted him in a bar. Both have yet to be seen since. But in a time when legends are being forged with keys held by ponies of all types and they battle the contemporary monsters of darkness. This old mare's tale is of no importance when the Heartless loom and the Nobodies reside in these worlds, holding the reigns. No pony cares. And this is when evil festers best. If cash is involved, he's there. Equipment: Personal Gummy Ship w/ mainly defense mods, Utility belt fit with one explosive bola, a lockpick, a bullet-ball pack, and an empty pocket for anything extra Weapon: Ensis (Cannon-blade) Short Bio: Buster once lived near his brother, where they both worked in the musical business. One day, his brother was taken down suddenly during a heartless invasion, but not before he was able to tell Buster where he could find his weapon collection. By the time he found his brother's cannon-blade (a sword with a blunderbuss-like gun attached) named Ensis, his brother had been replaced with a shadow heartless, which Buster proceeded to hack at for nearly ten minutes before he realized he could do nothing to it. Buster couldn't stay in his home town, or his world for that matter, so he stole a gummy ship from a nearby hanger and flew to another world. Over the years, he's collected some much better supplies and experience, and has become a smuggler for anypony who had the cash to pay him with. Personality:he's adventurous and determined but can be short tempered at times. Equipment: gummy ship (made for speed), custom saddle bag with bomb vest, bomb making kit and supplies. weapons: keyblade, easy light bombs, Short Bio: Short used to live in a nice little town with his best freind (who he sort of had a crush on) frost. They had been working on a gummy ship to travle to other worlds but before that could happen his whole town was attacked by heartless. it was at this time short was chosen by a keyblade. after the attack his friend was missing and so was the gummy ship. Asuming she was the one who took it he is determined to find her. If you need to know about his freind just ask.
My first attempt at multiple characters! Name: Luxilq Age: Colt Appearance: Normally wears a dark cloak, but it’s easy to tell that he’s a unicorn. He has a butterscotch-colored coat, brown mane, and light yellow eyes. If is cloak is maneuvered in just the right way, one may be able to see a Cutie Mark that depicts a Black Heart with an Arrow through it. Personality: Being a Nopony is a sad, lonely existence. As his sole purpose in life is to destroy Heartless, he doesn’t have much room in his heart for much else. He comes across as cold, distant, and dead inside. Although he’s been known to show compassion at times, it’s less about him actually caring for somepony and more of a means towards an end. Equipment: A Rapid-fire Crossbow, which he has attached to his side and fires magically. He can also use his magic to “Scatter” (create more than one bolt mid-flight) or “Follow” (A single bolt homes in on a chosen target) Short Bio: Lux doesn’t know anything about his past, and if he did, he wouldn’t tell you. The first thing he remembers is waking up in a dark castle along with several other Noponies. He was given his orders, (destroy the Heartless and anything in your way) and he resolves to carry them out (if only because he has nothing better to do). Name: Ambiance Age: Filly Appearance: Ambiance is an Earth Pony with a dark red coat, and a yellow mane with light green tips. Her eyes are emerald green. She wears bluish light plate armor which includes a chest plate, helm, and hoof coverings. Her Cutie Mark is a Lock and Key Personality: Usually a loner, Ambiance has always gone out of her way to help others in need, even at the expense of her own well-being. She doesn’t talk much about herself for fear of taking over the conversation or sounding like a braggart, so she has a tendency to come off as aloof and distant. Equipment: Keyblade “Heart’s Desire” Various potions and alchemical ingredients Short Bio: Ambiance comes from a world not that far separated from the Equestria we all know, although her Equestria seems to be perpetually stuck in the “High Fantasy” era, and even Earth Ponies have a tiny bit of innate magic. She had always had dreams of being a Defender of the Realm and her chance came when the Heartless attacked her world. When all hope had seemed lost, she prayed for a miracle. It came in the form of a weapon strong enough to drive back the Heartless: a Keyblade. Although she managed to drive them back from the castle, her leader Prince Solaris, knew that their world was lost and used the last of his magic to send her to another, safer world. I played the game. Best fight was the Saix fight. If only they drew that out more than it was originally. EDIT: Are both your OC's (If you can call them that) Nobodies, or living ponies?
I played the DS one and I found it really, really boring compared to the others. None of your actions had any real significance to anything much and it really did feel like work. Xion only goes and...oh! Wait! Spoilers.... Edit: Also, It should be read 'Three-hundred and Fifty Eight and a Half Days' because that's how long the events of the game last for. The other suggestions make no sense logically. Name: Iroas Age: Colt - So...20-ish? Appearance: A zebra of middling height and dressed head to toe in heavy, metal armour. The cheep, probably quite flimsy materials are the best he could come up with on short notice. Their scuffed, dented and scratched beyond belief. It's all held in place with belts and straps over a thin, blue jump suit. Without the worryingly thin helmet, Iroas has a rounded face and his striped, spiky mane has been squashed by the helmet into a scruffy mess. If you ever get to see it, his cutie mark is of a black feather. Personality: Iroas is rather meek usually without a helmet. Without a helmet, he's unlikely to talk to anypony while trying to walk away and be alone. He hides his face behind a hoof, seeks solitude usually rather than talk with anypony else. You have to corner him or wait for him to put something over his face to make him feel comfortable again. With the helmet, the story only slightly alters rather than completely flips like you were expecting. While Iroas will stand and listen, even converse, he's still not likely to talk about anything except what's relevant to the situation. Every conversation point that could lead that way is immediately diverted or ignored by Iroas. Equipment: Keyblade - The Cleaving Wings Keyblades that function as throwing knives far better than as swords. They each have a black feather hanging from a chain as the base of the weapon's hand guard. Each of the two blades are made up of a black curve that arches from just beyond the base of the blade to the end of the handle. The Blades are curved, bowing and fraying to resemble a feather with the silvery metal. Two oblong chunks are missing to look like key teeth. Short Bio: Iroas is hunting for Nobodies. There is a Nobody that he knows and knows very intimately. She has been gone for years but ha resurfaced and stands to tear down the entirety of not only Iroas' life but also the lives of his world too. He's fighting to destroy this Nobody before she attempts to go for his family and his entire life. How's that looking? Any more for any more?
I've played about 20-30 minutes of the DS version. The only ones I've played through the entire way are Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. That being said, KH is probably one of my favorite series.
